Hi- well I just have to comment on this as I have a connection with Hell or High Water . Got the T- shirt lol . That’s what we all said and called the big flood of June 21 2013 in Southern Alberta . It destroyed so much so fast . All my ppl had to evacuate , find kids that were let out of school ,drive threw 4 feet of water on empty , and get to two houses as we were moving . We ( my adult child ) lost just about everything from freezers full ,ovation guitar , fender amps and guitar etc etc . She had to stay at a friends for 73 days and a lot of wine was consumed . That was the start ! Then it was community helping everyone else . She was in High River ( it’s a town ,ironic ) and I was in Living in Calgary . I had to evacuate as well as I was a block from the flooding river but high up . And of coarse I wasn’t doing it ! So with helicopters blasting over the intercom right above me I sat in my truck with Merlin my schnauzer for about 3 hours listening to music . It was a “ don’t “ tell me what to do moment lol. It took months and months to dig out and it was so bad the Calgary Stampede grounds were underwater as well . All though it was harsh we all came together as a community and with Jesus by our side made it a huge bonding moment with ppl we didn’t know . That’s how we roll up here and I’m sure everywhere else . Even Medicine Hat was under water just say’n cause I know you spent some time there. To me Hell or High Water has a tone of the solidarity of Jesus . Seems like your messages and voice always leaves me with “ lot to think about” and of coarse pray about and . And that Amanda is a very comforting and great full place for me to be these days . Thanks for bringing alive those memory’s and the feeling of thankfulness with your “ Hell or High water spin on the phrase. I always appreciate your God given talent and prospective of worship . Cheers lady ! 🇨🇦 🇨🇦 🇨🇦 Laurie
