They are so connected... AND SO CANDID!!!! Most church ppl wouldn't tell you this stuff... MOST PARENTS would never tell their kids this stuff... but this helps other people b/c they're so honest. I LOVE THEM!!
I always notice that people who have intimate and simple wedding ceremony, have great marriages! Because they emphasize being ready for marriage, rather than prepare for a big wedding! Awesome!🙏🏼

I have the cd and the book..i met her in her dressing room...they are beautiful and real..we spoke about 10 min as if they knew me.. they face time my family and offered a picture and signed my book (I thought that I would cry or be nervous) she never gave me the chance.. she was so cool and I know she and David were so tired in Oklahoma after blessing and slaying the stage the cd is everything the book give a great perspective to marriage and hope for the family.
This is funny. My husband and I will be married for 8 years come January 15th and expecting our 3rd baby girl in January. Our story is so similar. We got married after church and his family showed up. We was so convicted that the Lord spoke to both of us to "either do it now or don't do it at all" he walked in the other room where I was and said the same thing I heard God spoke and we called or pastor and he didn't answer 😁. He left a message and I fell asleep and when I got up hours later he had spoke to him and agreed to do the ceremony. It was suppose to be private in his office but he announced it to the church during service and we had a lot of people including family after church watching us get married. He made it a wedding with his robe on,one of the musicians song and played the music,we took communion and everything 😀😀😀. I was like dang where all these people come from and we didn't do the traditional dress and suit. I picked out his suit and he picked out a dress for me that he liked. The funny part was his mom had on a similar dress the same color. That day was wonderful and that wasn't all the story lol 😁 😂 😂 😂. We still going strong after all these years. We talk about how we got together,how the proposal in the bed just talking happened,the first time, when we tried being celibate before marriage lol 😁 😂 😂. Oh the good times we had and still happily married to this day. All the couples we know who had big weddings, parties and lavish proposals aren't even together anymore which is sad.
I like how he took charge and made a statement, not a question, "We're getting married." That right there would have turned me on. I would have said, "ok Daddy." It tells me he was definitely sure that he wanted her for his wife. No hesitation, no games, no doubts. A real man!
