@@somebrokefella5522 She could have been honesst with him to begin with. It's partly her fault that the ending happened had she not lied to him. The very lack of absolute honesty between David and Lucy completley recontextualizes their relationship and makes one wonder wether it was destined to fail.

I've just realised, when Lucy initially is surprised by hacking him and finding the Sandevistan, and asks him about it, when she stops herself "curiosity killed the cat and all that" she's realising that if she shows too much interest in the Sandy, David like any sensible person will use said Sandy to just run away. So instead she keeps talking and the opportunity arises when he asks for work. I think her plan at that point was let him use the Sandevistan maybe 2 or 3 more times to tap him out, not realising he had a crazy high tolerance for cybernetics and no understanding of when he should willingly stop using it. If David was under the impression he could no longer use the Sandevistan that day it would be easy enough to knock him out and call Maine. Problem was, David just didn't stop or get tired. He was either completely fine or literally dying after using it. That led to the whole ambulance highway incident and by the time all that was over she was confident she didn't need to knock him out since he was more than happy to come home with her.

Lucy sounds incredibly intimidating and charming regardless the language setting she's on. Kudos to Emi Lo, Aoi Yuuki and Maria José Moreno.

Are you speaking from a latinamerican point of view? Some would argue that the mexican dub comes of as rather forced and lacking in coming natural and real. Moreno knows her craft alright but she lacks the experience and passion to convey Lucy's sassy personality. That's one of the flaws in mexican voice acting where they cast young and up coming voice actors who lack the versatility to voice such unique and interesting characters such as Lucy.

@@gtanow741 The language of the dub changes according to location. I take it you're in Italy right now? Here it's the mexican dub starring the inexpierenced but still quite versatile María José Moreno. I have heard Bielli's performance of Lucy in the italian dub watching some clips online and while my italian is vague i could still feel the emotion and investment in her voice to what Lucy was going through. Like i've said in other comments overall all the dubbing studios did a great job casting most of their voice actors.

@@javiervasquez625 She did great, sure some moments were a little lacking but nailed the personality, most people actually enjoy the dub in LATAM and even motivated some others to try it, this is why LATAM can't progress steadily in these industries, being gatekeeped by people who prefer hearing the same VA from their favorite anime instead of giving a chance, sure I get the critique but is just shallow to undermine her talent just because of the country, no sea malinchista.

She didn’t give a shit about going to the moon after halfway through she just wanted David to live, then when he gave his life so she could get away and “live her dream” she went just because it’s what he gave all for her to do. Hence the sombre time on the moon, her heart was broken because David wasn’t there with her. :’(

Then she played hard to get, imo the series could of slowed down a bit and had two seasons to separate the time skip. We could of had more character development and watched their relationship build closer. Was still good regardless,im happy with it.

She said it herself, she was tough on David and a little mysterious because she didn’t want David to die. She liked him and didn’t want him to suffer a death as a punk. However, when David showed he was truly all in on this life and wanted to make the most of it, Lucy understood and revealed her true feelings. She fell for David just as David fell for her. Lucy even tried fighting arasaka alone later down the line for David’s sake, leaving her career and risking her life. She left everything behind just to keep David safe. What do you mean she hated him for being ethnic and treated him like an incel?

Es un buen doblaje, lamentablemente están muy mal nivelados los audios en la mezcla, varias veces ni se escucha lo que dicen por la música (probé un par de ecualizaciones igual). Lo vi en Japonés. Aunque mostrándole a un amigo en su Home theatre le pasa con ambos idiomas lo malo de la mezcla. Es una lastima eso.

Saddly it might not happen due to CD Projekt Red revealing mutliple projects of which they'll be wasting money and manpower for the next *10 years* to focus exclusively on producing another anime in the Cyberpunk universe. If you're in your 20s right now expect to see the next big Cyberpunk game by time you're around 25 or 26. Who knows you might get the chance to see something soon depending on wether they'll try to keep people hyped with more spinoff shows and what not.

@@Sousaice But they are not INTERESTED in making one as of right now due to the many other IPs they are currently busy with to bother wasting budget to get the same writers back plus rehiring Trigger all from the USA while wasting money on sequels and their brand new IP. It would be such a huge investment for the company to add more heavy work to their schedule that it's simply not viable for the company to do. You'll have to wait until something comes up before getting your hopes up.

@@javiervasquez625 you’re wrong . anime was a huge success and boosted cyberpunk views greatly . before around 40k-50 user playing daily . To 100k+ users daily closing on 200. You know you can’t just release the expansion right ? And then go ghost on the cyberpunk iP and expect a huge success . It going to be a success regardless because of genre and how cpdr is . But it would be a bigger sucess if there a season 2 of this anime between the years of expansion and sequel. They know what they doing . There a chance for season 2 .

By "original" i presume her english version? I tend to agree although from what i've heard of the technically "true" original polish and the japanese versions they also add a lot of soul to the voice performances specially with Lucy's character. Overall i would argue all dubs for the anime are at least above average with a few bumps along the way.

@@Lion_Feu I see. Well so do i specially in the last episodes where the emotions are really well conveyed all around. I wouldn't say the english dub is "superior" to the japanese one though as that goes over how japanese speaking people react to emotions when conveyed through their own native language. I feel both the english and japanese ones are really good with the english Lucy conveying of emotions been a highlight for the dub. The one i didn't personally enjoy as much is the mexican one as the voice actress lacked experience and didn't have a point of reference due to mainstream anime still been a novelty in latinamerica. Anyway i agree with the english dub been really good.

She should be in prison for *lying* to the guy she supposedly "loved" all the while being partly responsible for said guy's sacrifice while she flies out to the Moon ala Frank Sinatra and enjoys herself for the duration of her stay there before moving on and more than likely meeting another "David" who may share his fate unless Lucy grows up and STOP lying to people she professes to love. 🤨🤨💔💔💔

@@roguetank3526 She's a lier and a temptress who let her "sweetheart" pay the price for her ignorance and stupidity if you ask me she's the one who deserved being torn appart while David walked out unscathed. It's ironic how people defend her despite a lot of the climax was the result of her actions. Only one of them *truly* loved the other to give their life away. This is a fact.

To bad that chemistry ended with David having a bullet to the head, and all of Lucy’s friends dead. To make things worse, David basically murdered an innocent woman, and Lucy just didn’t want to be in the fun anymore.

if your interested i remade and remixed the song that plays when lucy first meets david here in this scene. Earth trax blurred, that song, I made it alot different with a much more depressing vibe.

A mission where Lucy And V attack an Arasaka facility that uses David’s rampage incident as a bd for data to keep making them would be a fantastic way for Lucy to get back at Arasaka for using david as they used her and V just being a badass merc that she hired or just helped out of passion for david ;)

Not only would that completley undermine her leaving for the Moon to live happily in honor of the man she supposedly loved(despite lying to his face) but it would also put her life at risk practically erasing all of the sacrifice David and company made to get her out of Night City. Having a Falco cameo in 2077 is enough Edgerunners reference to satiate our appetite for this anime so i seriously doubt dragging Lucy back to Hell is something anybody in their serious mind would ever want.

@@javiervasquez625 David’s mom sacrificed a lot to get him into Arasaka Academy and he wasted that too, didn’t he? Her dream wasn’t to go to the moon at that point- it was to be with him. It’d make sense if Arasaka was experimenting on David because of how special he was- unlikely that they killed him. It’d make sense for her to try to save David. What would she be doing on the moon for so long?

@@dogestranding5047 ¿Did you even watch the scene where Adam Smasher said: "Oh, well" mere seconds before *exploding* David's head off clean and a splash of his exploding brain spreads across an aerial view of the Arasaka tower? There's literally zero possibilities for David to become an Engram due to the simple fact that there's NOTHING LEFT OF HIM for the Soulkiller program to turn into an Engram. Instead of coming off with bad fanfictions which contradict the story itself why can't the fanboys and fangirls come off with *plausible* scenarios for a continuation of the Edgerunners story such as Lucy finding out she's PREGNANT with David's child and must find a safe place away from Arasaka to raise him/her. There you go use this idea for a logical fanfic instead of one that outright contradicts what's clearly shown on screen.
