At just 17-years-old, David Archuleta, of Murray, rose to the final night of the competition on the hit reality show, American Idol. Bob Evans sat down to ask Archuleta three questions.

Most of the comments are supporting and encouraging. This young man is human (like you and me). His talent places him in the spotlight, but he is still entitled to privacy and respect (like you and me). Posts like...”top or bottom” and some of the others I read are really not cool and they are unnecessary . We should strive to be better people and not rip each other down. Love not hate. I have never listened to a version of imagine better than David’s. Also this man has more potential to hit the top charts than many who are already there. I think he has one of the best masculine voices in the USA right now. I hope he gets busy singing acoustic songs and forgets about so much background music. Just one instrument and his amazing voice will do.
Thank you David for sharing your life and your love for other people and showing everyone how special Jesus is and how he love's all of us and wants us to live our lives and learn from him how to be more like God! I think you live your life very much as much as you can like God would want you to live and I have learned a lot from your songs and you. Unfortunately Christianity has been forcing itself onto non-believers for the last 2000 years or so - with those that haven’t complied getting tortured or murdered. So no lady, you don’t get to go around like this is some great organization that’s based in facts and reality. It’s a cult based upon early Roman and Sumarian mythology - your wish to believe in it makes little difference to these facts.
@@john_m_weaver It's ok if he is gay. People just can see he probably is but he is not ready to admit it. It's probably because of his religion and he doesn't want to dissapoint his family or church or his God. But it's sad to see him not be able to be himself because he has that internal conflict. Happiness comes from looking outward, thinking about others, doing for others, not from looking inward and overthinking about me. David's concert tonite in Manhattan was wonderful. :) He and Cartie Underwood are my facorite American idols.

David Archuleta has been in the entertainment industry for more than 10 years. His faith in Jesus Christ, and staying grounded and focused on the LDS church has helped mold him into the fine humble young man he is today. Now compare David Archuleta with Justin Bieber. Which one of the 2 entertainers would you trust your daughter with?

I think he's secretly gay, which is totally cool, but i think his pain is that his religion may not accept him if he came out and that's his fear. Come out David and free yourself, you'll never regret doing so, it's your life, be you, be free.
Not yet. He talked about that at the end of the interview. He said that marriage is a bigger priority to him than music and that he is looking forward to being a dad and a husband.
