Good presentation, interesting stuff. Have you ever tried to research the effect of miRNA's which have their specific site in the ORF, instead of the '3 UTR, on ribosomes // protein, or even mRNA // protein?
in theory would it be possible to transfect an aging (55+) human with a viral vector carrying super (additional or younger autologous) mitrochondria? Is there a way to do this using autologous adipose stem cells to grow more mitochondria...or cells and then extract the neo mitochons?? giving this person more little power houses with which to power, carry on metobolic processes and allow longer life and possible revision of cell damage?
It would not be feasible I think , first of all aging has a lot of other consequences much more than loss of mitochondria. But it's just my speculation ,if you know the answer ,please let me know.
