Yeah they could have done something with her hair. I mean that's what they did with David and Frida Davids hair is longer and Fridas hair is now in two pigtails and seems fluffier

I feel like you can tell their personalities more with their new looks, like they both had similar color schemes and kinda blended in with the other background character, but their new outfits seem to show more of their own personalities

Yeah, I honestly thought it was canceled after the movie or something, but season 3 came out Dec. 7th!

​@@Your_Dad_left_for_milk Did he try to save his friend just to impress Frida? I understand that you ship them, but that was an act of pure friendship and altruism. Furthermore, Frida was completely out of her mind due to the magic, I doubt she even remembers what happened at that moment.

Maybe he’s still getting some leftover effects from the Medallion of Sigurd, or he’s just matured as a character..

@@Dandelionsinthesky I'm still surprised at how long Zach was able to use his younger voice despite him obviously growing up throughout the show's production (6 years). It was a good thing that the showrunners finally let him use his actual pitch in the movie.

Yeah, I think I prefer the newer designs. The old ones were fine, I just find the new ones more aesthetically pleasing, I guess. And I wish Hilda's was more different too, but I did notice she doesn't have her blue skirt on anymore, so it is a little different.

Hilda changed, she no longer wears a skirt on top of her pants

Also she dresses like she did in the time worm episode she's dressed like hilda from the future who tries to save present (back then) hilda

Of course she did, she no longer have noodle legs. She almost fits her brick shoes now.

I greatly enjoyed when animated series age up their (kid) characters along with their VAs; it just feels more authentic to the characters’s development, and respectful to the VA (instead of replacing them with someone younger). Fin from Adventure Time is the only kid character in a long running animated series where they aged him up to match his VA (Jeremy Shada); Fin started the series as 12, and ended the series as 17 (plus the spinoff material shows him as an adult since Jeremy is an adult now).

I mean, canonically, in the movie, they are a bit older than in Season 1, but i would love to see a new movie design for them, like a mid-stage between children (Season 1 and 2) and teens (Season 3)
