This is coming from the guy who never unified for 6 years before canelo got to 168 and it took him 8 years to fight plant (his best win). It took canelo 11 months to become undisputed and 11 months to beat Benavides best win on his resume. Not only that he moved up right away to 175 and fought a prime world champion bivol and he was called a cherry-picker. Yet Benavides is getting praised for fighting a 37 year old Gvozdyk who just came out of retirement last year after being out for almost 4 years and went the distance last year with a bum with 34 losses. 😂😂

Then why won’t Canelo fight him? Benavidez and him will definitely get a bigger bag and many millions Canelo can bathe in. He’s spitting facts though. You can’t tell me he’s not or disagree with my opinion 100%. Canelo just in it for the bag. He doesn’t even signature his fans at all or acknowledge them. As long as he and his family are set with income, he could give to F’s about you, me or anyone else who supports him. Trust me I support Benavidez more and I love Canelo as a fighter as well but man he should just give Benavidez the opportunity. If it’s not for all belt to be undisputed, then at least for one from either weight class that Benavidez doesn’t own. Regardless Canelo will go down as the best and as the king of boxing. He’s definitely in my Mt Rushmore of Mexican Boxers.

I support Canelo with the De La Hoya situation, but he’s putting a price on his matches like he could care less about victories, even thought he’s only lost 2, but one because of his weight class and the other was because he wasn’t ready for Mayweather who was already an experience boxer and still somewhat in his prime. Even though respects to him for stepping up. Cuz we definitely would never lol. But man all I’m saying is I want Benavidez to get his shot. Whether he win or lose. But it would’ve been nice for him to have fought Canelo maybe like 2-3 years ago for the most part. Canelo was on fire. Now he’s just punching dudes like he’s sparring or hitting a punching bag. He’s definitely becoming more of a family man than a boxer at this point. You can’t disagree on that. He’s even mention how he’d prefer being with his family even though boxing is his life and place of comfort.
