This is an extended version of david's ESPacology. if this somehow seems familiar to you, you have probably seen Derren Brown Preform his version of this phenomenal effect. it is a bit hard to follow, but it is an absolute masterpiece.
Yes it is a complicated routine, and I'd agree that Derren's version flows much better, but what you can't argue with is David's sheer nerve and hutzpah in carrying this off. No actors, clearly, just a mastery of equivoque ( picture selection ) and 'front' ( witness how he creates the final order of the pictures on the table - nothing to do with the lady's random ordering ). Very similar to his chair test elsewhere on RU-vid.
You guys comparing this performance to Derren Brown are being silly. This was YEARS before Derren (who I love) and no doubt inspired Derren a great deal. He might not have existed had it not been for Berglas.
@@jamesbevan9939The lecture notes I’ve found on the routine do not reveal how the 6 men freely choose the envelopes A through F, which then end up matching the paintings they’re standing in front of. Do you know if this part of the routine was ever revealed and, if so, in what lecture notes?
Maybe you are right, but nobody can be scure that they are really not actors. and if you wanna know, I am really scared to know that somebody can choose for me or choose my decision. sorry if my english is not perfect. if you dont understand answer me and I'll explain you my opinion again.
