“Siesie Yen” recorded live at the “Expression” literally means Purge us or Prune us. This track gathers to traditional worship songs (public domain) in the Akan dialect of Ghana. The connotation of these two songs linked together seeks to supplicate for the continuous Grace, Guidance and Mercy of God in the life of the Believer in order to stand for and in the Faith.
In the Psalms 18:29 “For by You I can run against a troop, By my God I can leap over a wall.” In the entire account of Psalms 18, David makes these confessions and supplication after he was delivered from the hands of all his enemies and Saul. He makes this important statement in verse 29 to attest of past victories with the Lord on His side and for that matter a reassurance of all that he can accomplish - with God on His side.
We earnestly have every course to sing this song in our world today amidst the multiplicity of uncertainties. We ask for Grace, Guidance and Mercy to tarry in faith like the early men of faith did, and not stagger.
