@@petarbucan7943 go to you local magic shop and buy books on magic, dvds and magic tricks. if you live in new york and want to do street magic. get a street permit. and if you do not get a street permit. it can be a $500 fine.
The best thing about David Blaine is his ability to appeal to people who already know sleight of hand. He'll throw a few obvious moves in there, telegraphing them, make you think that's gonna be the whole trick. You're so focused on the fact you saw him perform certain card moves, then he pulls out a phone or adds a layer to the trick you cannot read in any 'magic' books. Dude is constantly studying and updating his act with the times.
it's so funny people say "well it's just sleight of hand" like the woman on the left yea. he's not an actual wizard 😂you've cracked the code, it's still entertaining and very impressive!
Been watching DB since late 90s , he’s always impressed me with the simplest tricks. Back in his first special the levitation bit blew peoples minds this was way before RU-vid and other magicians online spoiling all tricks. People thought he was the devil, it was truly great television.
@@sarac.3568 very true… i am a sucker for a master magician with cards and sleight of hand. That stuff like you said even when you are shown how it is done you still stand in disbelief. 🙏
David Blaine's sleight of hand is among the best in the business. These tricks are fairly novice, but Blaine is so good at them, one forgets that. He is and pretty much always has been a master.
probably a gimmick. i thought it was a double lift, like usual in this video, but when he changed on the camera, the only explanation i have, is a gimmick@@PimPen81
God, David Blaine is just the absolute best. I'm always impressed by him every single time and he knows to keep up'ing the ante because he knows we're tryin to figure it out and that we think we're smarter than the magician lol.
This is a variation of a trick I used to do, the moment he had her sign it while it was on the deck in his hand, I grinned like "You smooth devil, its all done now, that was it!". He is a master, great stuff! Everything else was salemenship.
8:55 the two women in the upper right are like, I don't got the 3 of diamonds! We're about to be out to VEGAS! Then David only calls out the Joker and the two are ignored, lol. They're probably like, what about us? We don't got the 3 of Diamonds, what's our prize? David's response would of have been, "yall f**ked up your cards", lol.
The real magic is how the view is still on tv. Btw i cut cable out 10 years ago so i dont know how half of these shows still go on. Maybe its the older generation keeping them alive.
I once saw an guy doing magic on stage at a very small club in LA. I was watching him from the edge of the stage (10 feet away) and he took out a large handkerchief, put his hands under it, and when he removed the handkerchief with one hand, a large white cat was in his other hand. There was no way it was on his person, so where did it come from? It was a real cat, he set it down and it pranced around the stage. He also made many small ducks appear on stage seamingly out of nowhere. No cameras, no mirrors, no tv's. I was in awe BECAUSE it wasn't a well known magician. He was a black guy wearing a turbin.
Even when I think I know how the magic happens, I love the quality and entertainment from this magician... see at 8:53 when the audience are revealing their cards. Although the prize winner will need the Joker card, the idea is to reveal that almost everyone has a 3 of Diamonds. Look carefully and you will notice that the lady with the black shirt and the lady with the pink shirt closer to the last row, have different cards such as 5 and 7 etc. On AGT this also happened :)
