David Bowie's lifecast being done by Bill Malone for the Burman studios to help create alien effects for the 1976 film "The Man Who Fell to Earth."
I met David Bowie at the taping of Top of the Pops in Hollywood circa 1987 and we talked about the aging and life casting process that he went through for the movie “The Hunger." I also mentioned that I collect life masks and that I had an extremely detailed mold of the one he had taken for the movie "The Man Who Fell to Earth." David then asked me if I could send a copy of this cast to his offices in New York City which I certainly did and I also hand delivered other artistic castings including an “Aladdin Sane” painted life mask and several translucent life masks.

The modern day photos are of a contemporary casting direct from the same mold that I made David Bowie's castings from. www.ebay.com/sch/forsche_desig...
