Blue Epic lp , all way through, One you can keep going back to. The supermen, after all, the width of a circle. First time i listened to it one morning, couple nights later woke up to Ronson playing in my head! Keep on going back for more. : )
Both versions of this song are really good. 0:33 and 1:40 really carry this version, and I love Bowie's breathless, hysterical singing in the original release. If he could have combined both of those into one performance, it would have been fantastic!
This is absolutely my preferred version of the song, because it has the proper build up and release. The MWSTW version, while still fine, hits too hard too quickly. It feels less dynamic than this version as a result.
I think that's because it's the last track of the album which itself was slowly building. Bowie seemed very interested in albums as a whole instead of isolated tracks, so it's hard to judge single tracks on their own at times
