Your tractor is a 996 as it has a handclutch for the PTO and in 1973 the David Brown’s had a brown engine and gearbox with white wheels. Top class job!!
Well yes it is a 996, the reason I called it a 995 is because all 995/996 that were shipped to the USA went under the label of 995. And thank you very much.😃
As someone else has already mentioned the colours were orchid white and thanks vermillion for the orange, even though this tractor was probably chocolate brown originally. Nice job.
This video sure makes me want to make it shiny again! So you think the calcium made the rims start to rust? My tires are filled and never been off the rims.
@@andrewscott2866 yes the calcium made ours rust very bad especially on the one it leaked out of the tube on when we put the new tires on it took hours of cleaning just to get it paint worthy. And you should go for it get er cleaned up
No we just put a normal paint on it nothing special the exhaust manifold had High heat but that’s it, we painted our other one with the same stuff and it worked great so we’re trying it again
