With the polls narrowly favouring Leave, and the bookies tightening the odds, Jon Snow sits down with the Prime Minister David Cameron to discuss the EU referendum campaign.
The lord commander brang a really simple yet a very effective question: if you know the risks of economic uncertainty if we leave the EU. Why on earth call a referendum? lol
I despise Cameron quite frankly but he is miles better than Boris. Boris is the very definition of a career politician. Only at the start of this year he was making videos campaigning for Turkey to be let into the EU, that the EU was the best thing ever. He's also a serial liar - like his banana bunch claim on the EU which you can verify by simply popping down to TESCO. If you trust any of the Tory party of UKIP, you are quite frankly deluding yourself.
My aunt Hetty's comment she wanted me to put (maybe not my views): "If your unsure what the truth is, just listen to the Prime Minister, and the Chancellor and the BBC".
every EU video I have come across if the leave is on there the video will gain lots of likes and if the video is mainly for remain it will receive a lot of dislikes... this actually makes me further confident that we will win our leave... leaving has become a trending title and this is looking really good.
Jon and Peter Snow are wonderful chaps, a great family they must come from. Also the fantasy Jon Snow is a great character also fighting those White Walkers, swinging is sword like the electoral swing-o-meter
Amazing Jon Snow !!! I discovered him believe it or not in Robert Fisks extraordinary book The Grear War for Civilization (page 194 and on) : « among the other British reporters in Basra was Jon Snow of ITN whose courage and humour made him an excellent colleague in time of great danger…. Snowy …. » This is from the chapter on the war between Iraq and Iran and Snow was on the ground !!
1:20 The people of this Country voted you in power to GOVERN our Country- That's YOUR JOB, not the nation to decide on a Referendum that'll make us poorer. You called it to PLEASE a few in your Party- rather than Governing the people of this Country.
Cameron your lying , sorry but your lying and you know it is so so so disappointing to see you burning your self away like this , you should save your self. we voted you so you carry out your promise on EU referendum, get the message and save your self
+mintydog06 Here is a argument. There is no democratic mechanism for the people to oust the likes of Jean Claude Junker. He is unelected. Another argument to leave is the Highest court of the UK can be overruled by the European Court of Justice. Another...The EU market is a DECLINING share of the world's economic markets. Another...The EU market is protectionist which in the end hurts consumers. I could go on and on but at the end of the day the majority of people in favour of remaining really have no grasp on reality......oh by the way the money the UK receives from the EU is the UK's own money to begin with. This argument about the investment by the EU in the UK is a non argument.
mintydog06 You're right, my comment did lack coherency. Let me amend that now: For starters, something Russkiy Kiwi exclaimed about was unelected contributors to EU politics. Let me list you unelected* contributors in British Politics (correct at time of writing): 1) Jeremy Hunt, MP - Health 2) Michael Gove, MP - Justice 3) Theresa May, MP - Home Affairs 4) George Osborne, MP - Chancellor 5) David Cameron, MP - Prime Minister There are 17 other Cabinet members, I could list them too if it helps. Other unelected contributors to British politics include: 1) Her Majesty and the Royal family 2) the Judiciary 3) the Civil Service 4) the House of Lords 5) albeit arguably, the Commons Therefore, I don't think Britain is completely without blame on the "unelected" front.
I don't accept Cameron's answers about the Fraud. It is not just about the battle bus... they didn't declare tens of thousands of expenses *AT ALL* - that is fraud and suggesting they'll declare it now after it has been exposed is ridiculous... it's not just a matter of them declaring it in the wrong column... it wasn't declared at all! Deliberately by the looks of it.
Sometimes in life if you take one step back it will allow you to take two forward. If you always do what you have always done you'll always be where you've always been. We've been in slow poor times for 8 years now so I think we should get out because the eu has no money and is dragging us down, that's why they are all coming here for a better life.
Its a shame he got used like he did. EU has been falling apart for years taking away countries identity and telling us WERE ALL THE SAME. Ignoring years and years of our own history and beginnings. I have always Identified as British. And when I see the childish ways EU Bureaucrats Treat our PM's I'm glad we left. People in the UK are tired of all this and many Voted Remain I see now Happy were out.
I notice the Scottish flag, so forgive me if I think you do what the SNP tell you!, I know most Scot's like to do the opposite to what the English do, just to piss them off!, but can I try to give you some intelligent thinking if possible!, why don't you vote to leave the EU, then that would trigger a second referendum for Scottish independence, then we can both get what we wanted ie the UK out of the EU and Scotland out of the UK, which btw I would win twice, because I want Scotland out of the UK
Bake been One game of thrones comment makes you so angry. Its rather amusing please also give me some reasons why you would like Scotland to leave the Eu. Something which creates and keeps jobs and working conditions stronger.
Daniel The Scotsman Where do I start, lots of reasons, which you can find on youtube, give it a go. I guess the reasons the SNP gave for Scotland wanting to leave the UK, work the same for the EU. But my point was that if you or any other Scot want's to have another referendum for Scottish independence, then voting to leave the EU would be a good chance. That would have been the result if Scotland had voted to leave the UK anyway, because that was the warning for the EU. Unless you fear another referendum and just like to talk independence but don't want it?
Great to be able to look back at this clown and his stance....that remain had the best Economic arguments....a single market of 500 million people......may be so....BUT - who are trapped in a stagnant area, with shrinking economies which are delivering high levels of government debt and unemployment. An area where people have no jobs, no money and no hope. A protected market that is calved up by the big players, who fix their prices, incomes and thus profits at the detriment to those very people it is supposed to serve. An area that is so corrupt, is distorts the market and competition and puts up massive barriers to trade.....but ha ha....WE ARE OUT!!!
