Well put! Can you even imagine being able to be fully truly free with pure joy dancing and singing as one for our Lord. Wow! May God Bless you and keep your eyes toward him at all times, in Jesus name!
@@sarahmarie3210 Yes I have dreamt about dancing with the Jesus in Heaven and I have prayed that he gives me a beautiful voice to sing in Heaven because I sure can’t sing now! ✨🕊✨🕊✨🕊✨🕊✨🕊✨🕊✨🕊✨🕊
The Bible says praise him with Organs and Cymbals,,,,,,And it says Delight thyself in the Lord and he shall give you the desires of your heart. And it also says The Joy of the Lord is our strength!
And while we dance for the LORD , the ones with evil hearts can scowl at us all they want 🙌🏾 we will keep singing and praise the LORD God Almighty ! 💗💕💗
That brother gave his gifts and talents back to Jesus. He truly danced before the Lord. Not like David, but like himself!! He is fearfully and wonderfully made.
That was absolutely beautiful & Brought tears to my eyes...as I know the joy that young man feels in his heart & soul, making others smile & feel joy, tap dancing 4 others! I am 58 now, but I loved tapping as a child & teen. W/ this crazy pandemic I’ve been wanting 2 do something new, but didn’t think abt an ‘old’ new hobby. I wanna buy a pair of Taps & dance 4 my dog & cat! Who knows, maybe this ‘ole gal could perform at a family church gathering after things get back 2 ‘normal’.
For those painfully naive- this is a throwback to the performance of Duke Ellington and his Orchestra (a mix of Gospel and Jazz) with Dr. BUNNY BRIGGS dancing. Look it up! Wonderful job here.
OK. This is step dance! I like it 👍🆗. But King David didn't. dance before the lord step dance. 🆕🕺🆒Young people dance these days wonderful. God bless you 🙌🙌🙌Amen 🙌🙌👍.
@@restorationprayerhouse So You Reckon David Had A Pair Of Tap Shoes On When He Danced Before The Lord Looks Like Self Glorification To Me !! SO WHO'S KIDDIN
@@alf6924 You sound alot like David's wife who criticized him for his worship dance (which by the way was naked before the Lord), need I remind you how well that went over (her criticism of David's dancing): 2 Sam 6: "21 Then David returned to bless his household. And Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David, and said, How glorious was the king of Israel to day, who uncovered himself to day in the eyes of the handmaids of his servants, as one of the vain fellows shamelessly uncovereth himself! 21 And David said unto Michal, It was before the Lord, which chose me before thy father, and before all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of the Lord, over Israel: therefore will I play before the Lord. 22 And I will yet be more vile than thus, and will be base in mine own sight: and of the maidservants which thou hast spoken of, of them shall I be had in honour. 23 Therefore Michal the daughter of Saul had no child unto the day of her death.
This is a duke Ellington tune. It's not a stomp on theology. Appreciate the worship that is glorifying God through dance and music. Not sure what is ridiculous here except perhaps your judgement of it to be honest.
This is a duke Ellington tune. It's not a stomp on theology. I doubt they had tap dancing shoes back then, penny! Let's not get caught up in criticizing others' form of worship.
Literally how? No one said "this is how David danced," though even then we don't know the moves David pulled, just that it was a dance with all of his might. Nothing said "Jesus is not God" in this video. Your take is just a straight up wrong biblical take, and is hurtful to Christians to go around marring their reputation more than it already has been by being a keyboard warrior for Christ. Take this video for what it is, is an act of worship.
What is the issue here? We have no idea what moves David pulled A, and B no one's claiming this is a historical narrative straight from the text. It's a Duke Ellington tune, for heaven's sake :)
