From humble begins, Canadian David Furnish started in advertising with the ambition to produce films. Now co-chief of Rocket pictures and chairman of the Elton John Aids Foundation, Furnish talks to The Gentleman's Journal about film, fatherhood and being one half of the most famous same sex couple in the world.

I like how he's candid about the lack of a film industry in Canada in the 80s, and how he's limited to producing low budget ads. David kept things simple what he wanted, and succeeded at that!

Was in Florian restaurant in April 2019 when David walked in with his sons . I was struck by how beautifully dressed and good looking he was . The children were so well behaved and polite . Well done !
