No doubt Alex Ligertwood is one of my favorite singers. I saw him live in Lisbon with Santana years ago. But don't forget the others, also great musicians: David Garfield (keys), Gerald Albright (sax), Freddie Washigton (bass) - whom I saw live recently w/ Steely Dan - and Walfredo Reyes Jr (drums). Yeah, Alex has that great raspy voice, he’ could talk and already he sounds fabulous. He was what made Santana’s songs the greatest vocals - TALK TO ME lol, anytime ... lol Gerald Albright, he’s got that sax on fire!!!

What about it, Java Jazz fest? That's one CHEAP drum platform. It's not THAT much more expensive to build a real one. That's an insane amount of movement. Drum platforms need to be solid.
