The version he plays is way too slow from original! That piece of music should be played much faster up-tempo! Here is the link for the musician, who can really play caprice 24 solo! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PZ307sM0t-0.html

Maybe you know now, but he did play Paganini in The Devil’s Violinist” 2015. Wasn’t a very historically accurate movie, but was interesting and, of course, was great to see an actual violinist play the part.
This is easily the most passionless performance of this piece ever recorded. Technically flawless, but starkly vapid. Not to mention the atrocious orchestral accompaniment.
@@horticasey This isn't Ysaye... Paganini just wanted to show off with some of his pieces - also if this is passionless, I would like to know your definition of passion, because it is quite impossible to be passionless, even if you tried. I won't stand for disrespect to any performance by anyone, so please don't make hurtful and useless comments like these, sil vous plait!
David Garrett, what a perfect violinist. We can hear all the nuances he needs to convey through his amazing violin. Beautiful, so beautiful. Thank you, David! Gabriella

He plays this difficult Caprice with such ease, enjoyment, and joy! It astounds me! I've heard other violinists play this and I'm always a little on edge and nervous they're going to make a mistake (which they never seem to) but, with David, I was completely relaxed and just enjoyed it!
I don’t understand all the praise he plays it way too slow not as originally written by Paganini. That piece of music should be played much faster up-tempo! Here is the link for the musician, who can really play caprice 24 solo! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PZ307sM0t-0.html
We should also give some respect to the conductor, because being a skillful conductor, which allows them to control the entire orchestra to play in unity isn’t easy.
@@cosnzaid3636 That's a poor excuse. By the time they're performing, they should know everything the orchestra's about to do. I find professional concert band conductors much more compelling, and more professional looking.
@@paulthompson9668 Ye each conductor sometimes have a different reason. My conductor counts on beat (though we're just a school chamber orchestra), a guest conductor that visited did not. It mainly comes down to preference. It does look odd that the conductor is not on beat from an audience point of view. But that's how it is most of the time.
@@cosnzaid3636 I played in a marching band, and the conductor said you should be prepared to play your note *before* the baton hits the bottom of its trajectory. Now whenever I see an orchestra play its note when the baton is already on the way up to the next beat, it looks undisciplined.
I don't get how the crowd just sits there and claps casually after this marvelous performance. This deserved a standing ovation for at least a good minute lol maybe even an award.
It’s not how it’s originally done but I feel this is exactly the kind of showmanship and virtuosic playing that Paganini would’ve wanted for any of his works even the caprices
I love David's expression in this piece. He looks so much more serious at times, giving it all his attention. In other less complex piece, he is usually so casual. This really shows how difficult it is to play Paganini
The violin is man's true companion for many reasons. 1. Both violin and man are hard to understand. 2. Both know each other's minds once knowing each other. 3. Both share the same experiences in playing/creating masterpieces. 4. Both are loyal to each other. It's better than a wife these days I guess😂

I adore the magnificent performance of David Garrett, a brilliant musician, the Prince of the magical style of classical music, the greatest masterpiece of the Italian composer, a bright personality of the classical period, Niccolò Paganini's «Caprice No 24». My favorite genre is classical. And my favorite actor and musician is the delightful violinist David Garrett. His creativity is unique. The stage image is brilliant, excellent manner of performance, subtle perception of music, charm, uniqueness, pleases the hearts of millions of fans with their performance. His refined, virtuoso style of pizzicato performance in all compositions has no analogues = the pinnacle of perfection. He is assigned a sacred role in the chanting of the world of beauty, harmony, love. A magnificent orchestra with excellent musicians with filigree technique and perfect playing.

WOW ... just WOW ... Holy shit ... now that takes some talent and millions of hours of practice to play Paganini ... DAVID IS AMAZING. Now I'll go and watch it again. BTW It cracks me up when I see the orchestra dressed to the hilt and David comes out in his signature worn leathers, t-shirt and ripped jeans. LOVE IT. 🤣❤

@@chloeadams8703 No, I'm not jealous of him or anyone else. It's just that this performance is nice, but I think that David Garrett is not as skilled as other virtuosos performing this masterpiece (Alexander Markov or J. Heifetz).
David always listen with my granddaughter. And now I have a happy event: a grandson was born. I will introduce him to classics and rock in your magnificent performance. Thanks!
Perfection. Each and every one of my senses awoke...happiness,adventure,urgency,curiosity, determination, wonderment...mischief,enthusiasm...so many things. Thank you to David and all the musicians and conductor. ❤️

Una caricatura de Alexander Markov. El interprete mas cercano a lo hecho por Paganini. Esta interpretacion da pena ajena. Sobre todo con el patetico psicato que hace, parece rumba flamenca. Patetico.
