I have videos on my channel showing where some of his Bible teaching, mostly in regard to prophecy, is not only mistaken, but forbidden by the writings of Ellen White. . For example, David Gates said that The SDA Church would start persecuting SDAs in 2019, and that Rome would take over America then. Neither of those things happened. . Do you know what God told the Israelites in Moses' day to do to prophets among them whose prophecies failed to come to pass?

After doing my own studying in 2019, I have the end of this world as early as September 2026 to October 2030. Christ started His ministry in 26a.d. (sometime in October or November) until He was crucified on April 3, 30a.d. Gregorian Calendar or April 5, 30a.d. Julian calendar or Nisan 14, 3790 Hebrew calendar & rose 3 full days later at sundown Saturday (Matthew 28). When Christ came to this world on September 9 or 14, 5b.c. it was almost 4000 years after Adam was created & Christ was crucified almost 4000 years after Adam sinned. E.G. White said that it was about 4000 years when Christ came to this world.

No wonder they called it the Great Awakening and thought that the cleansing of the Sanctuary meant that Christ would return to cleanse the earth. The difference between you a non believer and a believer is this: if you are right , the world goes on in its pitiful state until it destroys itself and you die without hope and are lost for eternity , and if the believer is right they are taken to heaven after living an earthly God fearing life and get to enjoy an eternity of happiness with no fears, no death,suffering or sorrow, no crime . Seeing God face to face and all their loved ones who died and are now saved, children who passed away on this earth causing great sorrow and loss to the parents reunited. A mansion in the holy city of new Jerusalem and a country home you get to build yourself with gardens and vineyards you plant yourself and eat from. The tree. of life you get to eat the fruit and leaves from for the healing of the nations. The weekly sabbath to worship the God of creation. Trips to uncalled worlds to meet the inhabitants. The animal creations that are extinct here that neither we nor they will fear each other and we can pet and hold them. This is not a fable , this is what God has in store for those that love him and his appearing. This is as real as you and I are right now. You are a creation of God and sin has invaded through Adam’s disobedience. If you choose to ignore Gods Holy Spirit nudging you to believe then you are eventually lost for eternity and are without hope. There’s a reason Psalms 91 is in the Bible and it’s about God’s people being in the world during the outpouring of the wrath of God. They are protected but will see it with their eyes. The idea that God will whisk His people out of the world before this terrible time of trouble is a false teaching. Jesus comes when everything on earth is done, including the seven last plagues on those who have persecuted the saints.
The nearness of Jesus' returns is as close as when one takes the last breath. The next sound or sight will be the face of God or the otherwise result of the the choices that one made. Even so, come Lord Jesus.
Adventists often ask this question, and then make a loyalty claim to the Ten Commandments: *"Who will you worship? God or the commandments of men? I chose to worship God."* Of course we should worship God. I am not sure why one think that we should worship "commandments" in any sense at all? Can you imagine "worshipping" a command like the the command to not commit adultery? We worship the source (or the Person) who gave the commandments, not the commandments in and of themselves.
The Ten Commandments are a show of Gods character, he says if we love him we will keep his commandments. We are to be judged by the perfect law of liberty, which is the 10 commandments. We don’t worship the actual commandments but we do worship the commandment giver to show our love and allegiance to him we obey them.When man’s laws try to anielate Gods law then we have a choice to make. If you don’t obey Gods laws then the only other choice is worldliness and selfishness. Gods laws are now written in our hearts, it has not changed from when it was written in stone. Man has picked and chosen which commandments to put into his laws. It is a crime to kill, steal, lie, but adultry, disrespect to parents, and putting God as our one and only God and the holy sabbath day was put aside. Keeping the ten commandments is worshipping God and when man’s law try to force us to worship on the first day of the week(Sunday) instead of the 7th day which is (Saturday) then those who are faithful will obey Gods law and not man’s. Says He that hath my commandments and keepers them, he it is that loveth me, and he that loveth me shall be loved of my father and I will love him and will manifest myself to him. Gods 10 commandments is his Holy law. The first 4 teach us our duty to God himself and the last 6 teach us our duty to our fellow man. Why would God do away with such a good law? Gods law is also called the perfect Law of Liberty. James 1:25. James 2:12 says So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the Law of Liberty. Gods 10 commandments are the standard by which we will be judged. Gods law does not save us but it exposes our sins. The Holy Spirit then convicts us of sin and through his help we change. Through bible study and prayer, by beholding Jesus we become changed into his likeness. 1Corinthians says, Now the Lord is that spirit, and where the spirit of the Lord is there is liberty. The 10 commandments were not done away with, they through the workings of the Holy Spirit went from tables of stone to the fleshy tables of our hearts, no change in content , just location. Jeremiah 31:33 says I will put my law in their inward parts and write it in their hearts. The old covenant called the first, the new covenant called the second, old was temporary, new, an everlasting covenant, old was dedicated with the blood of animals, new was ratified with the blood of Christ. Old was faulty. New was a better covenant. Old was established on the promises of the people (all the Lord says we will do they said), the New is established on the promises of God. The old had no mediator, the new has Christ as our mediator. Old had no provision for the forgiveness of sins. The new has provisions for the forgiveness of sins (Jesus blood). Old was written on tables of stone, while the new covenant is written in the heart.. Gods Holy Law the TEN COMMANDMENTS is only the law of death to those who refuse to obey. Read James 2: 14~26. Finally to answer your question, HOW IS THE TEN COMMANDMENTS A DISPLAY OF GODS CHARACTER? Because it is all based on love, love for God and love for your neighbor and what does the bible say in 1 John 4:16 ~ So we have come to know and to believe the love God has for us. GOD IS LOVE. And whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. Gods law is simply for our happiness and for the happiness of others and to acknowledge him as our creator and redeemer. Setting a time frame leads to various issues of concern: 1) the virgins knew the groom was coming and yet 5 fell asleep thinking there was enough time for his coming. 2) when people hear they still have three more years (2027) before God's coming as Pr. Gates alleges, they will also sleep as the 5 foolish virgins did. 3) the Bible does NOT say that Jesus will come at the end of 6k yrs, or the start of 7,000 yrs. Glad David Gates is presenting this Prophecy Study given to Kevin Fisher from the State of Tennessee. I have met with Kevin and believe he has done a study that may wake a few Adventists out of their slumber. Many years ago, the Adventist Church in my home state of Michigan was a Prophecy Church and had basic training on the earthly Sanctuary services. Still, they also didn't fully understand Daniel or Revelation. One verse that the Church has never settled into a good understanding is the following: 1. They believed that Jesus returned to heaven and sat down at the Father's right hand, where they sat side by side, interceding for the prayers of confession that come up to the Father's Throne. They never thought to ask where that dual seated Throne was located. When they talked about the Sanctuary service, they put Jesus in the Holy and had the Father in the Most Holy, which was William Miller's view. Any good bible student knows there is no dual throne in the Holy for the Father and Son to sit side by side. Yes, this affects the Prophecy events, which are not part of Kevin Fisher's study. We need to be more open to the entire body of believers and be better searchers and investigators. There is a better time to get excited and think everything is nailed down. 2. The Church has never understood the correct understanding of Rev. 3:7,8, so they never discuss it. In the 1950s, Adventist prophecy students talked a lot about those verses and knew they were essential but had yet to understand them. 3. Kevin's Timeline has some good points. The 1,260, the 1,290, and the 1,335 all begin their count simultaneously, but Kevin's study did not call the last 1,260 the Great Tribulation that ushers in the Second Coming Jesus spoke of in Matt 24. 4. At the end of the Great Tribulation, there will be great signs in the heavens again, by the sun, moon, and the stars will fall again. Also, two prophets in Jerusalem will be killed after the last day of their work on 1,261 days, and their bodies will be dead in the streets of Jerusalem for 3.5 days. After 3.5 days, the Father will raise them back to life and take them to heaven; another time stamp is a great earthquake, which will occur the same hour they are raised from the dead. 5. At the end of the 1,260 to 1,290 (30 dates), the Beast and 10 Kings will gather their military powers of all Nations and assemble north of Jerusalem to battle Jesus upon his arrival. Satan knows and reads Revelation 17 and understands the prophetic time better than Adventists. They are given power for only 30 days, and the Father will put hatred into the hearts of the kings, and they will turn and destroy the Great City of Jerusalem, where the Beast stood up and began to rule all Nations for the last 42 months. 5. For my friends who are still stuck on William Miller's view of Daniel 12:1 being 1,260 years from 538 to 1798, please read Revelation 7:14, where we read the 144,000 will live through the Great Tribulation (Matt 24) and will come through alive. Everyone should know no man has ever lived through William Miller's 1,260 years. No man has lived 1,000 years on this earth, so how could he live 1,260 years. We don't need to toss William under the bus because he was a better bible student than 90+ % of Adventists today. In the USA, most don't even study their weekly lessons, much less read or have time to study the Scriptures. This is what the retired men in the Church should have been doing and sharing in the Assemblies. But are they old white heads in the Church respected in US culture? Do the members look at their brothers and sisters with Spiritual eyes, knowing the Holy Spirit dwells in those who are Born Again. 6. The Great City of Jerusalem (also with 7 hills) is destroyed in Revelation 18. 7. Revelation 19, we rejoiced in the Most Holy Temple in heaven, and Jesus soon departed for the earth. We have the date and month for the 1,260, the 1,290, and the 1,3354 from the Scriptures. But no day or hour for the arrival of Jesus. 8. We have the biblical date for the 1,335th 9. We have been given the Last Trump dates before the 1,335th date. 10. Kevin saw forty-five days between 1,260 and 1,335, but did he miss Daniel 12:11? The 1,290 is 30 dates past the end of the 1,260. Could you turn in your Bibles to Revelation 17? You will read about one hour given to the Beast and 10 Kings. This is a prophetic period that has never been understood due to our Pagan Roman time, keeping all the world wondering after. In the past, students used a 360-day year, divided it by 24 hours, and found 15 days. This doesn't seem right. Jesus said in John 11:9 that there are only 12 hours in a day (daylight). Never can we find 24 hours used in the Scriptures by Israel. So a prophet hour is 360 divided by 12 = 30 days or dates. This is the exact time the Best and 10 Kings have to perform between the end of 1,260 and 1,290. Daniel 12:11 reads: Dan 12:11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. The 1290 starts when Jesus's daily morning and evening sacrifice ceases, also called the "Oblation" in Daniel 9:27 amid the week. It is the same as the "Daily" sacrifice, a lamb every 3rd and 9th hour. The Church overlooked this vital morning and evening lamb sacrifice made daily, EXCEPT WHEN THE HIGH PRIEST IS IN THE MOST HOLY! When Aaron worked in the Most Holy, no morning or evening lamb was offered on the Day of Atonement. Also, no personal sin could be provided committed on that same day. The service was for cleansing the Sanctuary, including the tent, the inner courtyard, and the ourercourtyeard, where all 12 Tribes lived around the Temple. The Scape Goat was taken out of the Greater Sanctuary and into the wilderness.

Respectfully I need to point out that there is nothing in the Bible about *"the first day of the week"* ever being forced upon anyone at anytime, let alone as an "end time test" for all of humanity. Recall the saying "If it's in the Bible we want it. *If it's NOT in the Bible we don't want it"* .
Why do all protestants keep Daniel but forsake Ezekiel? When we put the two prophets together as they were in Babylon, we see that they tell of the same time line. Daniel 12 needs no future fulfillment. Please people read the word for yourself and follow no man. Many come in his name, saying he is Messiah, and do deceive.

If the 42 months of Revelation 13 is literal, than that destroys the prophecy because then America couldn't have come into power when she did at the end of the 1260 years.

It begins with describing the actions of the first Beast, then describes the second beast coming into power at the time the first Beast loses its power. In describing the second beast, it says it would begin like a lamb, then later speak like a dragon, which means our country, the USA, will lose its freedom loving principles, and in turn into a Communist dictatorship (which is what is happening right now). As apart of turning into this dictatorship, it will force worship, Sunday worship
