They might not be together or married or even intending to do so, but it's clear as day these two are soul mates, absolutely meant for each other, but they realised their relationship in a different way, I wouldn't even say through friendship because what they have goes way beyond that, this here is an example of true love, a case of two souls that are one. Amazing to see ❤
I agree and I don't know why some people just can't accept it as it is and are always like "they should be a couple" or sorts... Just let them be happy the way it is, if it's their choice! ❤
All he has to do is look at her or say something, and she gets that beautiful shy look. They really do have fantastic chemistry. Never tire of it. Such a great look at their relationship.
God I love them, and when Gillian is with him she just naturally turns to him, whether it's to laugh or touch him causally, they are just so amazing, even if they aren't TOGETHER together, I think in some way they are, how close they are with one another, and how happy they are around each other. Its just so sweet to see.
Growing through our own life with these two characters, actors, people who we see in our daily experiences will always make us care for them and wish for them the very best!
I think the biggest X-File case is, well, THEM TWO, and how they are NOT married. You could see it in either one of them at different times through out the video that they are happy with one another. Anyhow, I grew up in the 90's watching the X-Files and I love having had this series being a part of my youth.
I know right! How they are not together baffles me. Love seeing them together. Same, growing up in the '90s, I loved The X-Files. It will always be my favorite show.
They have amazing chemistry and they both admit it. The truth is 2 people can be in love but, realize they can't be together. Perhaps they have been together in past lives (as Mulder once eluded to) and for some life lesson they can't be together in this one. I do think however they are soulmates and will find each other in any lifetime.

I grew up watching x files when i was a teenager, can't believe its been almost 3 decades they have been together. It takes some kind of special unique friendship to have such close and understanding bond. That's so sweet of them. Its kinda like a memory lane and nostalgic for me looking at their life
On camera chemistry is such a fickle thing. Matters not whether it's two men, two women, or hardest of all, a man and a woman. There are so many dynamics involved between two people of the opposite sex. IMO, the first and most important aspect of chemistry between a man and woman on screen is humor. If they can genuinely make each other laugh it breaks down so many other barriers. When you see David and Gillian off screen, one of them or both seem to be always smiling. A true sign of affection and it comes across effortlessly.
Huge fan of these two.Hardest show Ive ever seen is when Mulder gets fired in Season 8. Sculley goes on without him. I wish Fox network could have settled the law suit with David.That show was getting better and better after season 4. It had another several years ahead of it.

There are very few connections between actors and actresses in TV series. But I Dream of Jeannie and Mad Men were rare exceptions where all the characters worked well together. Glad for you both for a sincere relationship like old classmates.

I dont think they understand how others perceive them. I do not recall many actors having this closeness. I always wanted to know what other actors thought about their close friendship. As you get older, though, you appreciate that person more. I always wondered why the relationship was complicated. Many actors would kill for a friendship like theirs. Love seems to be platonic. I'll pretend it's not. It's understandable that things end and people move on to different projects. It must be difficult and a relief at the same time. David has the most expressive eyes. They tell every emotion. It would be hard to look into them because they reveal too much. Its a wonderful ability, but they reveal everything.
