This is an awesome performance and David Gilmour is my favorite rock guitarist. I saw his tour that year (2016) but in Chicago rather than in Pompeii. It was an amazing show. Your English is perfect. The lyrics were written by Roger. He also provided the music for the verse. But David provided the music for the chorus and of course the phenomenal guitar work. However, the work of Michael Kamen should not be overlooked. He wrote the orchestration and conducted the orchestral accompaniment that really fills out this work.
