This is a review and unboxing of David Gilmour’s, Pink Floyd’s Guitarist, fourth solo album Rattle That Lock. This version is a deluxe edition boxset that contains the album plus memorabilia and a Blu-ray disc.
Lots of good stuff. Wish they had those extra songs on another CD though (maybe combine them with the jams). Would make it much easier to consume if you want to listen in the car or rip to digital. Having to rebuy the album digitally (which also seems to cost more at this point) to listen to those songs without having to get out a bluray player is a bit unappealing. Alas.
I’m still hoping there is some sort of David Gilmour boxset at some point like the recent Pink Floyd boxsets that are collecting all of the unreleased and out of print work that would include the About Face concert video and hopefully a live companion cd as well.
