Yeah man I totally agree listening to David is like smoking a spliff but your not amazing love the guy and his music. All the best mate from Perth Western Australia
@@myasmindandbodymeditation2694 Nah. The Winstons - "Amen Brother" (1969) most sampled drum break in the history of music is what he is recreating. RIP Gregory Coleman (drummer) (1944-2006)
WOW...JUST FECKIN WOW!! How have I never seen this. I'm completely in love with this man, the greatest, most underrated & consistantly brilliant solo artist ever! This made me laugh, cry and sing....like all the most beautiful things in life!!! Huge respect.
It's like the music is trying to escape from every part of his body, amazing. Just saw him in concert this week and my son was in awe of him, inspired him to keep practising. Fantastic and so genuine, lots of love for David Gray in my house 🥰
If this doesn't give you that good feelin... you have no soul! Simply amazing! He is by far the best concert i have ever seen. You can close your eyes and think you are in the studio! Love this man!
love seeing everyone on this stage doin it for the love of the music...not for the money...would sound exactly the same if they was doin it with no one watching.....proper class !
Just love this. What a great bunch of musicians. The cello is so haunting and the drumming is phenomenal. I'd always assumed it was a drum machine on the original recording.
Forgiving is our job. Jesus did it for all of us, and as much as I am not even close to his holiness, I can only assume that’s what he wants the world to do. It’s the only way to heal. Forgive. And let the burden go. We are not supposed to carry all of these burdens we put on ourselves. But we hold them. We hold onto them and throughout our life, our burdens we hold on so tightly to become so heavy, we can’t take it anymore.....not good to let it get that far. Forgive and let it go. Only way to move forward and grow. It really is.
Finally got to see him live at the bridge water hall a few days ago; I’ve seen a lot of artists in my time; this guy is something else! The new material is great too.
Fantastic jamming at the end with that hypnotic, intoxicating drumbeat with the brushes. Not in C this time but in Db major. Brilliant song!👏👆A gifted pianist AND guitarist,👏
Heh, I always remember spending the last 20 years thinking this song had a drum track instead of a real drummer. Holy hell, that drummer is a metronome, what a guy.
A mountain yesterday was down there today is up there the world needs to hear stuff like this at a time like this I'm very sad and I'm very happy Jesus we're your children we ask you to come help us and deliver Us
David Gray is just phenomenal, one of the most underrated artists i can think of! I was a kid when he came on the scene, so many memories flood back when i listen to him and now as a songwriter myself he inspires me and other musicians like I’m sure he set out to do.
🎶David Grey! ! ! ! !🎶.....YES!!! When I read your comment....EXACTLY how I felt !!! (. . . .have 3-4 of his older cds), NEED to get THIS DVD! ! ! !😎🎶.... . . . .SO Fab !!!!!!!!!
a lot of people mention the drummer, but they ova looked or heard that the band and davids team work of precision is wat made the song heaven sent....just like football big ups gooners 1 super star cant win it all, chemistry evrething in this world....world.needs.to b at piece instead of power fookin it up.......
Thanks for posting this. The Hammersmith concert was one of the best ever anywhere anytime anyplace. ... Btw: The drummer's name is CLUNE. That's it. Just one name. CLUNE. Unfortunately, CLUNE and Gray parted ways a year or two ago and CLUNE plays with his own band now. CLUNE is one of the greatest rock/pop drummers of all-time. Matched with the brilliance of DAVID GRAY they were HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@rkkrah my wife and I saw him on that same tour but in San Diego and to this day we both swear it's the best live performance either of us have seen and we've seen everything from Fleetwood Mac, to Social D, Pearl Jam etc...not sure what it was about his show but it was incredible. And we STILL talk about that drummer to this day...seems we weren't alone in feeling something special about DG, his performance and this song...funny.
