The lesson here is: everything has gone wrong and, yet, it was perfect. Afrojack was too lazy, SIA didn't wanted to be famous and Guetta didn't knew how to use Windows. The only one here that achieved what he wanted was Afrojack (go to parties). SIA became that force of nature and world renown artist. Guetta won 2020 best DJ of the world award and is a legend (and still hates windows).
He asked Katy Perry to sing on the track with Sia but she refused because she thought it will ruined Sia's performance! What an humble an amazing woman!
Yeah. I liked the song too. My musician friend just made it's remix. Watch the remix on his channel namely 'Chaitanya Pimpalgaonkar'. I'll be happy to get your feedback in the comment section of that remix :)
People like to clown this man sometimes but he’s low key the godfather of modern day edm. And he’s a wizard in the studio! Even going back to his earlier days with the “Africanism” french crew. Nothing but love and respect ❤️✊🏾
How people are surprised that it's 'Fire Away' is beyond me. The words bulletproof, ricochet and aim are in there, makes more sense than 'Far Away' lol
Titanium is very emotional for me because it reminds me of a very bad period in my life when i had an accident with very bad injuries, 11 surgeries and 4-5 months in hospital, then the hard rehabilitation, learning how to walk again etc. I'm a religious person and God has comforted me in so many ways. I believe that He's led me to hear this song at that time to cheer me up and ... oh how it did! David Guetta says it's his most special song. I don't know many of his songs, but I definitely think Titanium is special. Very positive memories out of a very bad situation.
This is definitely one of the best dance tracks ever, it has great lyrics and a great sound. Many other tracks have nonsense lyrics that just fill some empty space, but Titanium is so deep and emotional. I think that's the reason of its success.
For me the part that makes this song extra special, is that tiny fx in the chorus every 2 bars. Kind of like a “zoom” sound. Sure Sia’s vocal was unbeatable and perfect production but that little piece is what I wait for when it plays. Instant classic.
This was the first time I heard Sia snd she blew my world when I started listening to all her music. Sia is absolutely amazing and will always be one of my fav singer song writers.
I don't remember the exact circumstances of when I first heard the song but I remember this: Hearing the guitar in the beginning was like a gateway to another universe. Insanely beautiful. To this day, whenever this song plays at a party, people freak out when they hear it. It's an absolute masterpiece.
I was obssesed with this song when I was 22. It`s interesting to know the story behind it. I think Titanium is the best song of David Guetta so far... who is with me?
I really really love this song! It represents a lot to me. When things are not going well I just remember myself "I AM TITANIUM" nothing is gonna take me down, no matter what.

Big Boss David Guetta! One of the electronic música legends, curious the story With Afrojack and the fact that Nick and David create a banger working together. Best Team David, Giorgio, Afrojack and Fred (R.I.P.)
Fun Fact : The black army guy in the video who's also featuring on the RU-vid's thumbnail is Richardson Zephir, a french-speaking stand up comedian, actor and improvisor from Montréal, Québec. He got called on set only the day before to play an extra in the video to replace someone who couldn't do it anymore. It's a friend of his from the set who suggest its name, so this shot of destiny made him one of the most famous Canadian to feature on a RU-vid thumbnail with more than 1.7G views. More than all Celine Dion videoclips combined!
Afrojack Also Worked For The Track?? I Think 4 - 5 months ago Afrojack Was Live On Instagram And One Of A Fan Asked Him About ‘Titanium’ And He Opened The Project

I remember seeing Sia in a festival a few years before that. We were waiting for The Roots who were on the same stage after her and I knew some of her tracks from club remixes (like I drink to get drunk, maybe buttons). She wasn't hiding her face, she was barefoot, and just unassuming on stage and giving a good performance. No one else I was with knew her or her music and it seemed like most people there were waiting for The Roots (and Radiohead who closed the festival) A few years later those same friends were huge fans, like almost everyone else...
He speaks english very well considering his first language is french, and this was a really cool story, I saw a post Afrojack made about this song saying he didn't want anything to do with it cuz it wasn't his style. So he blew it off and ended up being a huge mistake he now regrets.

I'm impressed how Guetta was able to finish the song in FL studio without knowing it, considering that Ableton works very differently. Anyway there is no FL vs Ableton issue here, but that the music is made by the artists regardless of the software.
I knew Sia a few years before she exploded with Titanium. One of my favorites is Drink to get drunk. The remix by Different Gear made that song practically a dance anthem in the early 2000's.

That pulsing drop piu piu piu is one of the most unusual sounds I have ever heard. It sounds as if my ear is going overload, going deaf, or like getting electrocuted. This one song is how I got to know Guetta. Awesome!

arrived at sossusvlei lodge namibia unpacked my laptop sat in front of our tent and put on shuffle play . left there wher the immense red dunes of the namib desert, in front a yellowish grassland with gazelles running and to the right mountains glowing allmost pink in the setting sunlight. and then the guitar intro came up ..... this will be forever edged in my memory...
I remember getting back from the bar when I was near the end of college and blasting this right after it came out. Hammered drunk. Hearing this song brings these sorts of memories back. Great tune
