The paradox of David, he can't be delusional if what he decides is real becomes real. And yet when he does decide that he's a good person who deserves love, he can't change that no matter how much he tries.

But he can't really decide what is real, can he? He can only hide from reality. He was working so hard to get to the past, because he'd get killed otherwise. That doesn't sound like someone with absolute control over reality. He actually can't change or control anything. The idea that he can is actually the biggest delusion in the story.

Was anticipating your season 3 edit ever since the finale! You've really encapsulated David's morality struggle. The music, scene selection and use of parallels to tell this story is masterful. Actually welled up at 7:15 with Syd and David, their story is so beautiful! If you ever decide to create a Sydney character study i'll be all here for it!!

David's story really was one of a tragedy and your video encapsulates that well. In spite of how much I adore the show, I just wish they had done more to redeem him than just erase everything.... Lenny's suicide should have been a turning point in my opinion. Where he realizes what he's actually doing and won't just say "I'll fix it all through time travel and nobody will be dead!'. Also the way Amy was written out was just not okay at all. I wish they hadn't taken the time travel/life is strange/reset everything route. It felt like the message being sent was "you can't change as a person, just clean the slate and try again", where you just avoid your responsibilities and consequences of your actions. Also Farouk's sudden change of heart made no sense whatsoever. Still love the show though!

I've been waiting for this, and it was as great as I thought it would be, you always deliver. I loved the show's ending, David did indeed destroy the world, but it gave rise to a new, possibly better, world, and honestly given how powerful David is the way it ended was the only plausible way it could end, no one could have defeated him but his father's love did save him from himself. It was also nice to see our farouk understand the damage his actions caused and helped his younger version be better, truly a bittersweet ending but a hopeful one.

Oh my god this is madness!!!! How can a video be so crazy. Zurik you never fail to make a masterpiece. Your first video was what made me want to start the show in the first place, now I need to catch up on it. MAN IS THIS VIDEO SO AMAZING! I absolutely loved “Legion” it’s one of my all time FAVORITE show EVER. I loved, enjoyed and appreciated every moment of it. After seeing this idk how anyone could not watch the show if they haven’t already. A lot of ppl complained or said it was bad. But nah it’s legit amazing and this edit was amazing. I felt the emotion again. Amal Farouk was awesome af and I loved seeing him show his love for David. Warmed my heart!

I still have issues with the end of season 2 and the entire of season 3 Noah making David a villain suddenly and shadow king’s redemption arc makes zero sense to me but the show was brilliant and at least it ended decently Your edit captured the whole thing in a beautiful way from start to finish and was the perfect tribute to the show and David Thank you so much It’s always hard to say goodbye to such masterpieces 😭

Couldn't agree with you more. In fact, I had actually written off the show as a whole until I had seen that ending. It was the one thing I felt redeemed the whole journey. I still don't feel they justified making David a villain suddenly and shadow king’s redemption arc but they at least stuck the landing and did it with style.

I believe the story was being cut short as Noah had made some mention and references about telling the plane incident where David engulfed the souls. Season 3 had a lot of step out side the box moments and I believe the Blue Meanies was a way Noah voiced his time being cut short by producers as well as the stories having abrupt resolutions. If you go back and re watch with the time travelers mindset, the story is speaking to you the viewer, it changes everything and is a different show all together. I like the hints he dropped with the first episode of the Shield popping up in season 3 and time glitching like its the us the viewers TV messing up.

I think these 3 seasons have been the perfect story of the monster and the fight to overcome our shadow. First season is realisiation, second season is fighting the monster and losing his humanity in that search. Third season is him befrending and overcoming the struggle in all of his divinity. Unchallenged love is the only thing he has ever wanted and in the end is what saved him.

Я в восторге от всех параллелей, как в видео, так и в фразах - они просто потрясающие! Обе мелодии, которые ты использовал замечательные, но вторая, что была в Детройте, уже давно покорила мое сердце - очень сильная, эмоциональная и в тоже самое время трогательная, как ты и передал это в видео! Момент "время вспять" - очень меня растрогал - это идеальный финал. (И колоринг очень красивый ❤️)

Really enjoyed Season 1 but season 2 was very unenjoyable. Hawley showed like of understanding of trauma and mental health and tried to railroad so much of the crap about him being colonial nonsense against Shadow King who was a complete monster but framed as the hero. David was a victim since a baby.

Rewatching Legion. I’m glued…is this bad?

They Need to bring LEGION BACK! They need to think up new stories , new episode. . . I need it back it, was my drugs, the good kind. Not an expert on the origins of LEGION, but I have come to understand LEGION is never truly gone.

Why could they not understand cause and effect? He turned evil because they all turned on him because they assumed he was going to turn evil because Farouk MADE them believe that. Ugh.

Funny enough, Farouk loved David in his own twisted way. And I think that he wanted David to be like him. Detached from everything, a god among men like he is. And that's why he turns everyone on him, he thinks that by giving David the right motivation, he will be like him and they will eventually rule the world together. But by season 3, he finds out that David will never become like him, and when he learns about David's plans to revert time, he helps him in his own way. We really needed to see a full episode on Farouk's pov of what was like growing inside David, because he has the most confusing arc in the series.

I personally didn't find it confusing. Farouk was the truly evil one imo...not David.
