William Daniels did not say "One Man Can Make a Difference". Richard Basehart "was Wilton Knight.

I didn't meet him, but I seen him back in 2016 at the Staples Center in 2016. A girl pulled up in a Kit replica. Then the Hoff pulled up moments later with a different car and camera crew. They filmed a commercial. He's taller than I realized. It was crazy because he did it on a regular street in front of regular people. There was no barricade or warning. We were waiting to go in for a Clippers game.

Ikr, that's what Glen Larson (RIP) mentioned in that Knight Rider documentary on the Season 1 DVD.

This was confirmed by William Daniels (who voiced KITT) himself that he and Hasselhoff had met as well. Because "St Elsewhere" (which Daniels was in) was in production at the same time as "Knight Rider", this kept the two actors from interacting with each other to a minimum.

He met him first in 1976 on broadway... "Listen, learn, know"

I agree, it needs to be the same car, there is only one KITT. I would love to have the original voice, or at least as close as they can get. Been watching KITT every night, and I still love that little car, it takes me away from all my problems for that hour.

I was obout 10 or 12 when I was KR for the first time. At this time the show was already canceled since years I am just 4 years older than your daughter now. I love the show. I was so sad david does everything to destroy the legend he build up through knight rider and baywatch. He is a good actor but he seems to want nobody takes him serious as an actor and singer.

@@quikta oh i still love the guy. I own the entire original Knight Rider series and even Knight Rider 2000. I enjoy his whacky music videos and contributions to pop culture. I just feel saddened that after the embarrassment of the old drunk video that he would do a GMA interview smashed as such.

@@AgnosiaAgnosis If you look at the thumbnail for this clip, you'll see he took a picture with him prior to this interview. They met up the week before David mentioned on a Sunday. I was wondering why it wasn't shown in the clip though. Back when the series was being recorded William Daniel's did his recordings on a sound stage studio and it was later edited dubbed in before shown on tv. William's involvement was him parking, walking to the sound studio and recording lines for that weeks episode for 30 minutes. William Daniel's was doing the TV show ay the time called Saint Elsewhere. David and William first met at the season one Christmas party.

I would have loved to have seen that. There's a guy in town here who has an 81 transam that he's got decked out to look like KITT, he's put a lot of time and money trying to cover every little detail, and he's got it set up so it says a few things, and even though it's not the real Knight Rider car, it's still pretty neat. But some how, KITT looks smaller in person...ha ha ha Love that car.

That is correct they originally met at a Christmas party during the first or second season so that made this interview seem kind of weird. I'm going to State something else which people are going to make comments about the Mandela effect but i swear on a stack of Bibles the guy that did the voice of Kitt I'd swear died around 10 years ago and I know there are multiple RU-vid videos talking about the show that make references of him passing away around 2008 or 2010.he i thank was reported to have passed away after doing the voice for the Knight Rider GPS that was a anniversary product which ended up getting nail for copyright issues and being told from the market. I remember them talking about him passing away around the time the GPS came out.so its really strange that Hasselhoff is talking about meeting the guy at his home recently where I'd swear he died about ten years back or more.i Can't believe he's selling the car I know he used to have to screen used ones his wife got one of them in a divorce if I remember correctly and I think he sold the other one and then a few years later he bought a replica that was done by somebody that is one of the more famous replica Builders and they built the car specifically for him I think it was like 2008 or 2006 when he bought the replica there's a RU-vid video about it frankly don't feel like cracking it down and getting the link.it i believe was done by a lady that does replicas of the car and he specifically commissioned her to do one took a little over a year. Forget how many she's been involved in.
