Hard to believe this is the same Hoff that had so many problems with drugs and alcohol. Guy has really cleaned up and turned into a class act. Glad to see him getting some attention again

The man...no...legend that was there to put on a concert when the Berlin Wall came down is still kicking ass all these decades later! As someone that lived through the 80's, I can't wait to see Kung Fury! Also: the "True Survivor" video kicks the crap out of its modern contemporaries.

Resvrgam That's completely true. The reason why David Hasselhoff is so popular in Germany he was the right guy, at the right time, at the right place. He sang optimistic songs to Germans who were finally seeing their nation reunited once more and the remnants of the old regime finally fall apart.

To any millenials who are wondering - yes the 1980s really were that cool. There was a sense of self-awareness to crazy crap like this, but the distinguishing feature was the lack of concern. Life is short, why not burn the candle at both ends and really do something worth remembering? There's a reason why so freaking much of pop culture came from that decade. It was fearless and unrepentant.

Superb. It went down exactly as I thought it did, with the Hoff in front of the green screen in David's house in Sweden. Surreal indeed. That trailer is a triumph (I have never laughed so hard), the song is so catchy it's unbelievable. Total magic, can't wait for the finished product and many more excellent future endeavors from David Sandberg to come I'm sure.

David Hasselhoff has evolved into a full on humble guy with incredible stories and respect for people he's worked with in his career. It was awesome watching him as Knight Rider aired on TV when I was a kid in the 80s. I think he's actually got some cool things to accomplish yet. Total class, David.

David Hasselhoff literally got approached by a regular dude in Sweden, going "I'm doing this absolutely silly thing about the 80's, literally in my garage. Wanna join?" and after seeing the trailer, Hasselhoff was hooked. I mean, he probably didn't even get paid a lot of it, at first but it didn't stop him. I bet the Hoff had the most fun he's had in years doing this absolute madness :D

I'm watching this two years after its release. I'm still listening to the song from time to time. I've come to realize, what I like about it, all of this, the Hoff, 80s action movies in general...it's this somehow naive, but certainly not stupid vibe of hope for a better future.
