I honestly blame his vegan diet. his body simply can't sustain itself and is breaking down. he should fight bellew for his cruiser weight belt - that would be the ultimate revenge, forget the heavyweight division. there is money in other divisions - look at mayweather.
Kyle Mavris 1st British boxer to be a unified cruiserweight champion by winning 3 out of the four belts available in 2008. I think you should do some research since you only know David haye as a heavyweight.
Praz94 - when he was in the heavyweight div - there was only the kiltchko's to fight - was a shit division , he is 36 and probably not going to rival the AJ's and deontays.... as for Bellew - he had 1 leg and under estimated Bellew who has a damn good boxing brain
This audience is the definition of sheeps. David Haye is one of the greatest athletes ever. I just wished he stayed in cruiserweight. He could have been the most dominant boxer ever lived.
People underestimate the achievements of David Haye, one of the most exciting and succesfull cruzerweights of all time easily unified all tittles then had the balls to move up to heavyweight and challenge 2,20cm 170kg Nikolay Valuev, you got to respect the man
This was very interesting, not a huge David Haye fan but this was different insight of Davids Haye life. Speaking in front of a very different crowed. First time I have seen him admit, that he does get caught up in his own hype but when he is himself around people, he carry himself almost like another Muhammad Ali, like a world class champion!
There's always one who tries to compare Joshua with Tyson. They shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence at this stage of Joshua's career. Prime Tyson would KO Joshua inside 2 rounds from what we have seen from Joshua so far. Joshua has fought 1 decent fighter and nearly got knocked out so let's calm the hype for now.
No he doesn't state that all. He said his Dad was a positive role model. The question he's asked is: "Did you have a mentor in boxing who guided you through your early days?" - To which he replies "Muhammad Ali" etc etc
Stefan Quinlan last time I checked he was a professional boxer. So yeah he is a living breathing fighting machine. That's his job. Jason Streatham on the other hand is an actor and is not a fighting machine. You need to watch a bit of boxing and less shit movies. It'll probably save you from looking stupid the next time you attempt to engage your brain and spazzing out on your keyboard
unifying the division is harder than it looks... you really got to be number 1... keep your belts and force other champs into a fight...wlad pulled if off in the end..fury did it in one fight... joshua perhaps would have done it in one fight too (surely hes top dog now until fury makes a reappearance and muddys the waters). I think haye was just too small to do it. hayes success was as a cruiserweight, but he has some noteworthy success as a heavyweight, he electrified the HW division for a little while, and he had the valuev record breaking height and weight difference fight to smile about..its already a classic... he also had a fight i thought was underrated against klit..(i really think he was just too small to really get at klitschko, but he kept going).only his excuse post fight (whether legit or not) made it lose its credibility as a worthy effort for the smaller guy.
One of the greatest boxer of all time in British boxing history he should get the respect he deserve , the injury killed his career but I hope he come back stronger and become heavyweights champion once again it's really good for British boxing as well ✌
The guys awesome , but did anyone notice his facial expressions when he said he told his mates to bet on which round He would say he would knock the opponent out.Anyone remember that audly Harrison fight?? 😂😂
I don’t understand why everyone hates people in university?. I’m a working class lad who’s got no GCSEs or anything. For god sakes I’m a security guard. But I’m still not some envious twerp. I blame my self not the fact I grew up working class. There’s plenty of people in that room who were probably born with a low income household. But there applied there self in school and now are sitting in a room with David Haye with thousands in the bank.
Good chat. Often gets overlooked what Haye has acheived. He was dominant as a cruiserweight, arguably Britain's best ever at that weight, second only to Holyfield in cruiserweight history IMO. Then tried his hand at heavyweight, a weight he is not suited at and fought with big disadvantages, yet became champion there too. Sure a few fights fell through, versus Fury in particular, but he got injuries, you can't do anything about that. His fight vs Klitschko was seen as a failure, but look up to that point in time and the years after, all of Klitschko's opponents got KO'd, Haye didn't. Haye has taken himself very far and should be respected for that. I don't blame him making bold predictions and boasting, because 9/10 he delivers and he gets paid well for that. I and many others would the same.
watch him take apart chisora on youtube then watch him in the first 5 with bellew ,not the same fighter at all he went to germany a week before Bellew because his leg had allready gone
why did your dad take you to a dojo when you were 4 and not the gym when you said at 3 you wanted to be heavy weight champ and they supported you and then you never boxed until 10?
Marks1979 you know You cant box until 10 if my memory serves me from when I was younger.I had 4 skills bouts then started boxing from 10 onwards. That being said Haye is a major major deuch bag
PAUL O'GRADY AND BUSTER David gaymaker! I DO NOT LIKE THIS INSULT TO BOXING I genuinely have more respect for lily savage as I fighter than David gaye!
He is the classic Alfa male. I would bet his friends are all submissive types. He will not be able to have a friendship with another alpha male. He would struggle taking advice from anybody as he would feel as if it would question his manhood. Would struggle to take criticism and if he failed at something he would never admit defeat and come up with an excuse to explain his failure. Of course, that's my perception derived from media based information and I could be completely wrong.
