No fear in David Haye, If he did he wouldn't have said half the things he said to Tyson Fury's face. Tyson Fury is a great fighter but he is very clumsy. If he makes one mistake David Haye has the power and the speed to knock him out.
Fury won this in the press conference scared haye shitless belittled him and his achievements . Did the same to klitchko told him he was over the hill and that he could only bully small men.
24:08 watch David Haye’s face he looked terrified of Fury, he faked a laugh and then you could see the true angst he was actually feeling after Fury saying that 😂
The guy in the middle Adam Smith's face is absolutely priceless! He is crapping himself thinking "what f'ing a-hole put me in between these two guys"? AHAHAHA
Not sure why everyone hates on furys trash talking, it's hilarious and it sells tickets. If anything it should be appreciated. A clown version of Ali , amazing
Over 1 yr later and Fury will be fighting for the Heavyweight Belt while David Gaye is bumming around the streets of LA with a bottle wrapped in brown paper.
He could have earned 5 million fighting Tyson but he chickened out, if i was gonna get 5 million for fighting someone that I thought I could beat easily I would not have chickened out. Mickey would call him a bum for sure.
lol i knew id get that sort of reaction from an uneducated Gaye fan and all his fans act like that he's their BF, its very odd. A bogus eye injury then some shoulder injury? 1. They both were highly dubious injuries. 2, Gaye made excuses about a injured toe in Klitchko fight. 3. If they were real injuries then that means he was training very hard, which means he was very scared of losing to Fury and pushing himself over the limit. 4. Gaye is a bum who never beat anyone of merit and who was smashed to bits by a 40yr old super middleweight.
Fury never beat anyone at Cruiserweight or Heavyweight, and yes Carl Thompson beat a one time Middleweight in Eubank, and Haye didn't even have the power to take Thompson out, and Thompson smashed him to bits, imagine if a true Heavyweight caught Haye flush on chin, he'd be out cold, this is why he ran against Vlad. He also has no stamina, Fury would lean on him and would beat him just by putting weight on him, also I reckon Haye would struggle against Cunningham, anyway Gaye wont be coming back, he's finished he aint got the heart.
***** Haye was dropped by 13 and half stone african guy (i forget his name) not only dropped, but hurt. He was also worn down by a very old veteran carl thompson. Yes haye beat valuev in a close fight, but i think fury is better then valuev, younger, faster, more athletic, better jab, more mobile, better combination puncher, however valuev was more solid, by that i mean you could throw a cinder block at the guys head an he wouldn't flinch. but fury the better boxer without a doubt, also haye isn't as good now as he was when he fought valuev, whereas fury is probably in the prime of his life. There are also rumors that haye was having a life and death struggle getting down to fighting weight, he was around 17.7 stone just weeks before the fight, and was also apparantly having a hard time in sparring. taking all this into account i think there was a very good chance that fury would of dusted haye.
David would go on to sit ringside as Tyson beat Deontay like a rag doll, the irony that he was commenting and couldn’t find the high praise fast enough.
Hard to believe Tyson is only 24/25 years old. Seems way more experienced. Floyd was 25 when he fought Castillo. So interesting to compare Fury and Mayweather”s promotion skills at the same age.
+wr1swd84 you obviously know aboolutely nothing about boxing. Everyone said he wouldn't do it, many have tried many have failed. Wlad was beaten before he got in the ring, Tyson fought a perfect fight, always said he'd win and win in style. If someone did that to Mayweather in Vegas, they'd be knighted, it's exactly the same Wlad unbeaten in 11 years and got absolutely schooled. Haye is a complete asshole, piped up about what he'd do to Wlad, put up a shit show of a performance and blamed it on a toe. Tyson might talk but he backs it up! I get so pissed off when everyone falls in love with shit fighters like Haye. Tyson and Conor McGregor are exactly the same, they talk and talk and talk and back it up time and time again, one is adored one is hated. Why? For me Tyson is an absolute hero and long may his reign continue.
+wr1swd84 You again haha you talk absolute shite. "in some sport years ago" pffft lol yeah sounds convincing mate. And its clearly you that has no idea about body language. Klitschko was clearly unsettled by Fury because of his unpredictability which unnerved Wlad and made him insecure. Fury's whole plan was to not let Wlad have control, and he did that right from the first conference where he got into his head, rattled him and made him doubt himself, just like he did to Haye here and like he does to all his opponents. Fury is the king of mind games and the best talker in boxing by a mile, whether its trash talk or not. Watch the gloves are off between Fury and Wlad and then the same sit down face off thing with Haye and Wlad. The one with Haye honestly Wlad looks and sounds completely in control and Haye is nervous, like he doesn't believe the shit that's coming out of his own mouth. The stupid stuff that Haye did didn't faze Wlad at all it just made him more determined to do a job on him, and Haye embarrased himself in the end. Also you know fuck all if you think Tyson didn't believe he was going to win. He absolutely did and he told us all the reasons why before. Wlad is a clever man and could see the difference between Haye's false confidence and Fury's real belief. There were a lot of reasons Wlad didn't perform, but they were all because of Fury. For the reasons I've already explained but also because had no answer to fighting someone who is not only as good as him but also bigger. Fury fought that way because Wlad fights on the outside and Fury beat him at his own game. Go watch MMA or some shit because boxing is not for you.
@Boxing Talk Couldn't be happier! I was pissed when I commented this because I was rooting for him when he beat Klitschko, and then he disappeared. Glad he's back and healthy. And the new!
At present, with the Heavyweight division as it stands, David Haye is the most dangerous to stand toe to toe with due to superior hand speed combination power punch ability. Chisora learned that, Del Boy had never been down or stopped in any of his previous bouts, including 12 rounds with Vitali! Chisora stood and tried to trade with Haye, and Chisora was handed his first KO loss...Something 'Dr Iron Fist' couldn't do to Chisora himself.
David Haye pulled out. I said when this bout was announced that Haye would find an excuse to pull out and he did. He knows that Tyson Fury is too much of an opponent for him.
This is by far the most interesting match up in boxing at the moment.Tyson has a real chance to beat Haye as long as he does not lose control.I have a feeling it will go the distance with both men putting on a great show...no knockouts but plenty of knockdowns!
It is amazing to look back at this and see how totally obliterated David was by Tyson. I don't think it's a question of what would have happened in the fight, we don't really know and will almost certainly never know. But what we do know, is that Tyson Fury won this fight before they stepped into the ring. As I write (Feb 7th 2021) this is exactly what Joshua has been running scared of, not the fight itself. But the promotional run up, as he knows that Tyson Fury will obliterate him in the promo run up. Expose, torture, humiliate and eventually compromise him completely, before they even step in the ring. Just like he did to David, and I am a fan of Davids.. comes from same area of London as me. But to cancel a fight not once, but twice - well.. what do you think?
Im a big fan of David Haye but I think he would have got knocked out by tyson fury in the 9th round if he fought Manuel Charr he would have won by decision and then loss to tyson fury and his record would be 27-3 (24 KOs) and retire knowing he lost to the best man on the night and fury would have yook his place as best british boxer today until anthony joshua knocks him out
I'm sorry but no way is/was Haye scared of fury. He'd get outboxed but he only needs to land on fury once and its all over. Fury is never going to hurt a fighter like Haye. His head movement is far too fast for fury to do any real damage. Beat him, possibly but hurt him, no chance. There are 2 outcomes of a fury v hate fight. Fury unanimous or Haye KO.
Fury has a chance for big things, but this is the 1st time I've seen him unnerved, he was trying to hide it with the jokes and glasses but something was different, its going to his head how big this fight is, hopefully he doesn't wilt under the bright lights
" I'm flat'in him ( Wlad klit) lalal glass when i fight wladimir all over the ring, his jaw is getting smashed , Your a stepping stone sir, I'm stepping on you " !, honestly if this guy fails to win this fight he should consider becoming a comedian.
Fury did get off the floor against the likes of Pajkic & Cunningham to win both via KO, but Pajkic had only won 5 of his 15 bouts via KO, and Cunningham stopped only 12 of his 25 opponents, both not big hitters. That's where Haye is in a whole different league. Haye will stalk Fury looking for an opening, and once he finds one and lands and knows his prey is injured, he is simply relentless and will unleash a devastating barrage of accurate and heavy rights and lefts until the prey is dead.
Did you see the shape fury was in before this fight. Look up fury interview before David haye fight. And it’s the ifl tv interview with kugan on 13 September 2013, he looked unbelievable. So disappointed this fight never happened I think..maybe we were going to see a very special performance from fury that night.
