Five-times Gold Cup winner, David Jefferies "DJ" will always be remembered by Olivers Mount race fans for his fun-loving attitude and all-out riding style, particularly his high-speed wheelies down the Back Straight and over the Jump towards the end of the bottom straight, which has since been renamed 'Jefferies Jump' in memory of the road racing legend.

Lovely film; just shows his fun and talented character. Certainly one of the most naturally gifted riders ever. He was born to be a part of motorcycle racing. OMG at 5.55.... I nearly had a whoopsie when I saw all that historic machinery coming out to line up!! Awesome :)

DJ and Mc*picture of pint of the black stuff* is like the race dreams are made of. Went to my first gold cup last year. One of my best days of the year.
