I was lucky - I almost gave up half way through this, because of too much tension, and then the rest of the piece keeps loosening up - and becomes very sweet! Beautiful
I know exactly what you mean. I love quiet, "ambient" music and I have a ton of it to play while studying, writing or drawing. I looked this song up on Amazon and it's only sold if you buy the whole album. The single song is not sold separately right now. (I'm sure there are more tech-savvy people who can figure out some other way but I'm not one of them.) So, I just kept listening to it on RU-vid, each time evaluating whether it's a nine dollar song. After a week and a half, realizing I was playing it daily, sometimes more than once, I arrived at the conclusion that absofuckinlutely this is a nine dollar song. This is not ambient music. This is just over 18 minutes of intense, perfect work by people who are experts in their field. It's almost like a whole Kronos Quartet album. Very thought provoking, challenging, emotional. Damn right I bought the album.
