The beginning of this, where Spike mentions that Dave was offered the spot after Leno and Leno would only be there for 1 year and Dave would get 11:30 after that. That makes no sense whatsoever. Why would Jay do that?
@@latenightplayset. Of course. I definitely wasn't questioning that but boy.....that would have made NBC look stupid and Jay look desperate. Dave did the right thing. And NBC and Jay pretty much looked stupid and desperate anyway.
