Broke my ankle in April on my bmx and im still walking around with 1 fucking crutch! Not fun. I'm getting a helmet and ankle protection for sure. Nothing embarrassing about self preservation.

i got a lot of respect for David .he got hurt so many times and still gets back on his board , that's pure inspiration to me . ive been skating for 8 years and the few times I got hurt was when I was trying somewhat basic tricks down 8 stairs rolled my ankles twice but I went back a year later and landed my tricks

Holy fuck. That's a lot of bones. Birdhouse did a demo at Pitcher Park in Pittsburgh a few years ago and David was trying a huge frontside grab out of the quarter pipe right in front of where I was standing. He went about 5 feet out of it and completely hung up his back trucks coming in. He slammed so fucking hard you heard the whole crowd gasp. He was holding his wrist when he got up and was extremely pissed. After hearing about all those wrist injuries I know why he was so pissed after that slam. Idk if he broke it on that slam or not but this guy takes some serious punishment. ☠☠☠

And the third I was walking through a state park and fell between a tree and a rock, also cracking it open in two spots. Rocks really hate me it seems...
