Excellent book. McGowan brings up a point in book that's never spoken of. Why weren't any of these Rock & Rollers drafted to go to Vietnam? No actors of age were either. Just one super famous young man got drafted. Muhammad Ali.
Yeah the only one that was famous that got drafted to go to Vietnam was a black man by the name of Muhammad Ali but did Jim Morrison get drafted did anybody from any of those bands get drafted from The Mamas and papas or from Crosby still Nash and Young or any of those groups

If you think about it, there was nothing too strange about Laurel Canyon and all the great artists who were at one time attracted there. Social circles tend to stick together. If one great artist moves to a particular area of the country and they like it, they tell their friends, and so on. Is there something to the fact that these artists had families who were either connected to military intelligence, politics, or high finance? Again, most of the WW2 generation was somehow involved with the military, and yes, there's a correlation between higher creative social standings and above-average intelligence levels within the military. Many of these talented people were taking pure form LSD and mushrooms and expanding their awareness levels by breaking down the doors of perception that gave people like Jim Morrison, a naturally intelligent and charismatic guy, the mojo he needed to become star material. Did the CIA distribute the drugs and make things happen for all these well-connected artists? Probably. The CIA's (Clowns In Action) primary responsibility is to protect and expand the political/financial interests of the self-proclaimed ruling elite through the open dissemination of propaganda etc. No big deal, and certainly nothing new! So, maybe the look-out mountain studio was used covertly by the CIA (Clowns In Action) to rehearse fake events like the Kennedy assassinations and to transform people like JFK into playing a new role as George H.W. Bush, or RFK as Jimmy Carter, or Ricky Nelson into George W. Bush, or Ed Sullivan as Richard Nixon, or John Glenn as Gerald Ford, etc. The entire political/financial system is a make-believe farce, a socially accepted legal fiction, so perhaps they needed someplace to practice their ACTS. Lookout Mountain seems like an ideal spot for all the gathering talent within the ruling elite.

It's funny how when at least one out of many came up with something so good as this to remind us this conspiracy has been out there before about Laurel canyon and all the evil s*** that went on there not to mention all the death and everything else I think Dave McCracken was on to something and a mere fact that he dies of cancer after he went to Laurel canyon with a meeting with some high officials that lived up there he was invited to go and his wife told him not to right after he came back a few weeks later he came down with some kind of incurable cancer yeah that's all just coincidences isn't it
