David Morgan of the Morgan Report (‪@silverguru‬) shares his latest thoughts on silver and gold, outlining the main factors he sees driving these metals at the moment and what their price potential looks like moving forward in 2024.
"What do I expect for the rest of 2024? I'm going to be conservative ... I'm going to say I think we'll still be in the US$30s - probably in the mid-US$30s," he said about silver. "I don't really think silver is going to be in the US$40s by the end of the year. People make arguments that it'll be US$50, and it could be. But I'm going to remain conservative."

In Australia Gold has gone up about a 1/3 in 2 years. In the same timeframe Silver has almost doubled.

actually, if you had gold prior to covid, you would have doubled your money, same goes with ETP's from Perth Mint as their value works on 1/100 of the actual value of gold in the USA

Just a point of clarification. David called the Shanghai market a futures market. I believe that this is incorrect, it is purely a physical exchange which is why the arbitrage is more compelling.

I live in the greater Seattle area. $20 for a fast food meal. Prices are definitely crazy. However, there is a lot of high income jobs in this area. The west coast is the last section of the USA to feel the effects of economic troubles because of this.

It could be this or should be that or might be the other. Nobody has really clear focus. Just better had already got it, keep it, get more of it. We need it and will need more of it. But it goes up and goes down, has been manipulated, loved, vilified, if industrial, and also financial & everything else. Like David Morgan but he mustn’t let despondency affect his intonation. He’s been right for 20 years and proved wrong but he sticks at it. I like that. He knows it’s worth. A good man.

I hope we will see Silver at 100$ or more in 12 months, as CEO First Majestic predicted lately it could happen. China Solar huge increase, China retailers, AI companies need Silver for electrification (only Microsoft alone will invest 10 billion US$), detoriating US$, End of Comex playbook, Physical delivery the new king, BRICS, Miners deficits, etc. are good arguments for it. Thank you Charlotte for this interview, even Mr. Morgan was conservative with his outlook. Best regards from Switzerland ❤

For years this guy has been calling for $100 silver and other crazy moves higher. And for years he's been totally wrong. And now when it looks like silver has a shot at $40 or $50 by the end of the year; this guy doesn't see silver going to $40. I'd guess he'll be wrong again and silver does go to $40 or even $50 and that gold does go to $3,000

A couple of decades fighting against TPTB when it comes to silver can take an emotional toll on you. He’s seen the “silver is poised to explode higher” dynamic squashed one too many times to get overly excited this time. The fundamentals are there, the logic is there, the technicals are there, yet silver is a threat, if not THE threat, to the USD. TPTB will not let it dethrone the $ without a huge fight. Ask the Hunt brothers how buying silver in a free market of price discovery works.

David will be long dead by the time silver ever gets back up to 50 let alone actually surpassing it. Imagine talking about the silver price your whole life and yet it never makes a new all time high. What a waste of life! blah blah blah yeah silver is going up in price. blah blah blah yeah just keep stacking blah blah blah yeah just keep buying the morgan report blah blah blah my words mean nothing and yet I charge money for those words blah blah blah.
