Love this song David dude it makes me cry, I love your story with your wife and your journey, first verse was new but the second was just like the record, that first verse is the sweetest thing ever it is classic you nobody can touch it, I’ve sang it many different ways but you nailed it lol on the record.

I envy the way your voice has held up, I had a really good voice, everything was just so easy and natural, now a neurological disorder has made me really earn every note, I should have chosen music lol it’s a love that doesn’t cheat or die, many cards put in my hands never used them a lesson to the young, don’t let that fear of standing in the rain far from home because of a broken band stop you.

Johnny Gaddis...I too have had a neurological disorder resulting from a vaccine injury that affected my singing voice. I wish I could communicate with you to compare "notes" and also to tell you about something that I discovered that has helped me. It is simply a technique I stumbled on, no money involved, that you might be interested in. Plus I'm still looking for even greater restoration of my voice but I haven't met or talked to anyone that has experienced this kind of "traumatic injury/loss" tho Linda Ronstadt in an interview was the one who turned on a lightbulb as to why I had such a dramatic sudden loss of my "chops". I also saw it with my dad following a massive stroke. He had been a great singer prior to the stroke and his singing voice was suddenly gone. I hope you see this. I would like to figure out a way, maybe thru a P.O. Box to communicate as a kind of "support group". It has been a devastating heartbreak to loose something that has brought so much pleasure and joy my entire life. Hope you get this as a notice to your earlier comment. I also replied to another of yours on a different David Nail song where you spoke of his music being part of your "healing" after which i said "I second that emotion!...Mine too!

I'm very busy at this time. I can still sing, but it was much easier and better before my episode. I had a cramp under my ribs by the right side of my stomach and it tightened until it busted something I think a nerve because it sent a bolt of lightning through my entire body then hit me in the heart and stopped it, it just Fibulated , I almost died after the ordeal I had tremors and they even were in my vocal, making it very hard to control it. I'm sorry you suffered and I hope you fine a way to adapt to your new window of opportunities.

@S. Wilson this has been a subject in my circle of people for a while now, if you talk like a sailor it never makes a mistake, but a normal conversation can turn into people upset with you and a much longer text , even if you proof read it sometimes makes changes as you hit send if ur fast at sending, we are all ocd when it comes to sounding crazy and getting misspoking 😆

I missed one of your text and we have some things in common, no Vax that I remember but my right side of my body was cramping up for awhile then when I fell asleep my muscles in my stomach under my right side cramped up so tight it popped and shocked the hell out of me , afterwards my arms waved like a bird trying to fly, then changed into tremors ,then a tick tremors, one doctor said I had to Parkinson's, another said a tick, and one more said I'm an strange unheard of case, I had a Christian song stream on the radio but I just wanted to write songs not travel in a bus life, I do most styles of music and was pretty good, I can match Richard Marx, bon Jovi, Randy Owen's so on , I just gave up and got sloppy I have a channel here with a few songs I've written you have a nice day too.

Johnny, I too was sent to be tested for Parkinson's but tho the doc that sent me thought I had it, the neurologist and my current doc, whom I am crazy about said "no, it was "just" essential tremors. I have an article from years ago about acupuncture treating E.T. tho I've been too tied up with my brothers needs to pursue it. Also there's an interesting RU-vid channel called "I Care For Your Brain" (I think that's right) that has a lot of info and discussion on E.T. and as you probably know all these neurological disorders such as Tourette's syndrome (the tick type), dystonia which I have known 3 people that have that and I diagnosed two of them when their docs were not sure what they had but after I told them what thought it was and to tell their dr., they came back and said yes that was what they had! Anyway they are all under the "movement disorder" umbrella, Parkinson's, etc the worst in my estimation being Huntington's which I had a friend at church years ago die from, similar to Lou Gerhigs disease, also horrible. Another thing that can be linked, is Lyme Disease which can cause or mimic some of these, including MS. Gotta go do something for my bro'...More later on the music/songwriting. Do you know Zach Williams and Ben Fuller, my two favorite Christian artists that have given me hope for the Christian music genre. Later...hope no typos, crazy stuff!

No expert but sounds like basically mic set up in the room vs collecting the sound directly from his mic and the instruments

Hang it up. That was awfull.. his time has come and gone. That 1st verse was terrifying... Then he goes to the original tuning on the second one.. timings all over the place... John singleton would not approve of that first verse of his old classic. JUNK
