RIP Robert Newton (June 1, 1905 - March 25, 1956), aged 50 And RIP David Niven (March 1, 1910 - July 29, 1983), aged 73 You both will be remembered as legends.

Wonderful movie, love Niven and Newton The filming ended in December, Newton passed away the following March I believe, unfortunately never seeing the film debut. Robert Newton always transformed himself and owned each character so well. He was a wonderful Mr. Fix and a superb Long John Silver. He would have raised Pirates of the Caribbean up several notches had he’d been in it. It is obvious the lead pirates studied his Long John Silver may he rest in peace 🏴‍☠️ …arrrrhhh!

See Jamaica Inn with Charles Laughton and Maureen O'Hara. Robert plays the young, handsome hero! Great film too.

He aways wore a suit unlike today's scruffy wokes he was asking to tell a story about Robert Newton, yes it was outside, however he has given interviews in doors also, as for world war II yes he did fight for you not to end up in a concentration camp, altogether in your case I'm not so sure!...
