While hiking in Yosemite after a few hours on this trail I would turn over to my gf at the time and I noticed that she would zone out and just walk with her head down and extremely close to the edge of the trail. Like a foot away. And it was one of those trail where if you went over the edge chances are you are gone. I looked over at her again and she was doing the same thing..head down walking extremely close to the edge. This time I yelled at her and just put her on the other side of the trail against the mountain. I felt bad because she wasn’t doing it on purpose..just a trance or whatever she would get into. It was very strange. Made me wonder how many people do the same thing and actually fall over on accident??? Head up and stay alert at all times 🤙🏼

Was that trail one that was ascending into a thinner atmosphere, sort of like going up a mountain side? If it was, then what was the air quality like on those higher trails? Does it have lower oxygen levels? I have never visited these parks and I wonder how far above sea level they are and whether less oxygen could be a contributing factor especially if you're going up a hillside or mountain side.

@@K-bq3lv it’s definitely going up a mountain side. Good point maybe the oxygen levels have something to do with it. That hike takes you all the way up to the waterfall. Upper Yosemite falls it’s called. Fatigue and thin air maybe 🤔

I talked to a helicopter rescue pilot here in Fairfield county Connecticut.. two men capsized in a canoe on Long Island sound.. the helicopter found one clinging to a buoy.. the second man wasn't found and they both went out with cadaver dogs.. the cadaver dogs hit on the area of water. And the second man's body was found 20 ft down at the bottom of the sound.. so the cadaver dogs could smell this man's body 20 ft underwater from a long distance yet and many of these stories about missing people the cadaver dogs don't find anyone!!

A dog’s nose is amazing, it is said to be 500 times more sensitive. I can’t imagine what that would be like . They smell the skin we shed how can they pick that out from say the overwhelming smell of grass. Mind boggling

The police are concluding all the cases being drownings. Why? To investigate crimes like in Austin, it costs a lot of money to do. The police has been defunded in most democrat ran cities. Rule it a drowning and never actually do a thorough autopsy? How much does that cost? Not much. Check out other cities around the us. It’s happening in many of them.

Another story. At night we would go to lower Yosemite falls just to hang out. Now the strange thing about that is I realized we were the only idiots there. Out of all the people in the park we were the only ones there. One night the moment got so eerie there that we ended up leaving. I can’t explain the feeling. It feels like you are being watched, the woods got quiet the energy felt scary. I wasn’t the only one that felt that way. We started to think there was a bear or something in the woods around us. We high tailed it out of there. Always listen to your gut

Search the official coast to coast for the rest of the story. There are other compilations of interviews they do that don't end in the middle of a conversation. I don't know why this channel keeps doing that. The only reason I like these compilations versus the ones on the official channel is the official channel loads it up with LOUD self advertising at the beginning, middle and end of the video.. if I happen to be listening while trying to fall asleep he wakes me up too often.

I think the reason why Dave doesn’t share what he thinks is behind the missing 411 phenomenon is simply because we have no idea. There potentially many different possibilities, we can speculate but honestly who knows. Smiley face killers theory has always fascinated me. I always wonder about serial killers and how most of the time they are lone killers or with one partner maximum when to me it makes more sense that there is a group of people who are a part of a cult that commit mass amounts of murders and are very organised and successful at what they do. Also those serial killers from history i Believe have been part of cults or associated with cults and they took the blame for the killings on behalf of the cults like son of sam (david Berkowitz) did for example.

You guys are missing a major point! I am a k9 handler and there are several things that could be sprayed to mess ip scent for a canine. The Uber Rich have hunting games where they steal people and hunt them for sport. The more knowledgable they are regarding surviving in the woods, the better challenging they are for sport. They pay others BIG BUCKS to anyone that provides them people. So there is always fresh hunters looking to make some major money catching fresh meat. One of the medicines I believe he's talking about is Amitriptyline. I take this daily. I take a small dose in morning and afternoon and it makes me sleepy. I take a nightly dose of 100 mg. This medication is very sedating. I have to be on it for esophageal spasms or I'm in severe pain. It's a tricyclic antidepressant that's often used for pain and sometimes for certain types of muscle spasms. If this was more on the paranormal side I wouldn't expect this to be in his system at all. This is way too weird

George, you mentioned Dyatlov Pass & the 1959 deaths of hikers. There's a 2014 book written by Donnie Eichar, entitled "Dead Mountain." He offers a highly plausible explanation of what actually happened to those hikers. I encourage you take a look at the book. It involves none of the previous explanations of what actually happened and posits that it was by a natural cause.

What if, what if, saying someone went missing in a park is just a perfect cover story. They were never there, or only there for a moment to establish that location. Everyone comes in, does a search for someone that was never there and isn't dead there, goes down as missing, presumed dead. Yet in reality, they're dead absolutely anywhere else they were deliberately put and no one is even remotely close to looking wherever that is. Because everyone believes the missing in the State Park story.

The facts about the Elisa Lam case stated here are wrong. There was a path to the roof that was not alarmed and it was confirmed by the police that the covering to the tank was opened. The media originally incorrectly reported that it was closed when the maintenance guy discovered her body. She also had a mental health condition and she had stopped taking her medication.

Maybe, but failing to take her medications would not necessarily lead to death. Erratic behaviour maybe. That hotel that she stayed in has a very shady history, and the apparent suicides ought to looked at more closely to see if they weren't murders. It was basically a dump and a dive that nobody would want to stay in, unless they were financially desperate.

There is zero predation evidence in any of these cases. It would be very obvious (blood, ripped clothing, screaming to be heard before they vanish if people are nearby) and there would be tracks.

I personally think more men go missing compared to women is because, we, as women, have been TRAINED to watch out for predators from a very young age. Men, on the other hand, are taught to be brave & face situations head on. Women are taught NOT get themselves into situations in the first place. Fascinating, intriguing stuff but, inevitably, my mind & heart goes out to the people that have lost loved ones this way & my prayers go out to them all. Thank you for keeping us AWARE! David is a godsend to humanity...there should be a special award for people like him!

It blows my mind where he mentions people always go missing alone, children, women, men and then says no one can be taken by a human, then brings up guns when multiple hunters also go missing. Guns only increase your chance by 50% and he said maybe 2% of all his cases I would think 20% or more than likely abductors. That’s just my opinion though try to destroy in the comments, but please, I’d like to hear them.
