Oh, David, his is the best rendition, in my opinion. You used soft tones and moved into louder tones. You were preaching to the choir. There was one person who critiqued this and he was blown away. He kept saying where is this man? Why hasn't someone introduced him to me before. He pointed out different places where you used your voice so well. It is so beautiful. I do have the DVD & CD. Thank you for putting this out for all to hear. Have a blessed Christmas and keep using your voice for Jesus!

The Gaither version is my all-time favorite rendition of David bringing this hymn to life. (It's hands down my favorite video, too). The singers behind him realize his talent and are clearly moved. And all, in their own right, are very gifted singers. What a wonderful gift we have been given. Thank you, David Phelps, for sharing your talents and love for our Savior with the world.

This version of This song is good, but i don't think it's as good as the one he had with Gaither. To much music couldn't hard hear David and his amazing voice. This man is the very best hands down. No other can control their voice like he can. Not even the tenors. I was the challenge of the tenors on this song David won it not even close to him. Love this man and his talent that God has so gracious give hom.

I love hearing David sing 'O Holy Night" The feeling he puts into this great song is overwhelming!!!! He loves Christ and it certainly show in all his songs. But this one is so special!!! Christ left His glory in Heaven to come to this rotting world to be"one of us" yet, was also God--so amazing what love the Father has for us -as we are referred to dust and sheep in the Bible--such love we as humans cannot begin to comprehend!!! Oh, we have the faith to believe though!!! Through the gift of grace of God---too big to comprehend but I certainly believe all of it---the Bible states it all!!!! My heart tells me how true it is!!!
