I avoid it but accidents happen. I hate sin but no I'm not perfect, I allow God to perfect me. There's a difference. People like to play this game with me & I refuse. If you don't understand what I'm saying then you might be in bondage to some sins and I would encourage you to repent of it. I'm fully capable of sinning but I don't go bathing or live in it. We are supposed to crucify our flesh daily and not give in to the desires of our flesh. We lean on the spirit. Keep your armor on. Stay prayed up and renew your mind everyday. If we do sin God uses that to reveal something within us that he wants to get rid of. So I ask for forgiveness & a strategy to eliminate it from my life. Here's a description of what it means to be a saint & let's stop trying to play with sin ok? Or say ha ha we still sin 😊. No. Stop it. Because if people believe we will always sin then they will never truly repent. They will see no need for it. We are to repent of all sin. As long as we are in this corrupt flesh there will always be battles. We are to fight & not bow our knee to the devil. But if we lose the battle we have God's grace. BUT that doesn't mean abuse his grace or else we will become lukewarm. Resist sin. If sin happens then run to God & get it worked out so it never comes up again. Christ's followers in the New Testament are called "saints". The basic idea of the term "saint" implies "holiness" (Moral purity, Spiritual wholeness, Separation from sin and dedication to God). Saints are "God's separated ones" or "God's holy ones." That is to say, these are people whose lives are continually being directed and sanctified (Spiritually purified, Developed, Set apart) by the Holy Spirit (Rom 8:14; 1 Cor 6:11; 2 Thes 2:13; 1 Peter 1:2), which causes them to deliberately turn from the ways of the world to follow Jesus. However, the term "saint" does not mean that the person is already perfect or incapable of sin (saints are "capable" but have no desire & happily avoid it). Calling believers "saved sinners" is not a New Testament practice. The common biblical term for all true followers of Christ is "saint" because it stresses the expectation that they live by God's standards of right and wrong (Eph 5:3) and the necessity that they remain spiritually pure and devoted to Christ (1 Cor 1:30). 💯

The way you asked that question feels like it exposes that you still live in sin & you haven't truly repented. What are you hiding? Hopefully that's not the case. A born again believer relies on the holy spirit to fight back & resist temptations. We don't go around & continue in our sin. We avoid it. We have a God-given free will to make the decision to continue or stop doing it. BUT when we do sin (like a new sin or an accident) it's God revealing something that we need to take care of (because we're not perfect). We repent of that & keep it moving. We allow God to change our character to become more like Christ. It's not about being perfect for God, it's about letting God perfect us. I used to be addicted to pornography, I indulged every single day. I've repented of it. I stopped. Jesus has set me free from my bondage to it among many other things. We can't claim to be holy/righteous but were still bathing in our filth & sins willingly. Give it up. We're commanded to repent. If you refuse then I'm afraid your living a lukewarm lifestyle.
