David Phelps sings with all his heart, you can feel every emotion. My favorite song of his is Just as I Am. It makes me cry listening to it. This man has a God gifted voice that he honors the Lord with.

He is not only extremely accomplished he and his family are the sweetest. His kids sing! He plays the piano, he knocks me out and he HAS SOUL and class. I adore his gift. He sings with the Gaithers. Thanks so much.

SO glad you found David!! Besides his almost 4 -octave range--in FULL voice--his usual style is building...building...building until he hits a top note and people go "Wow!!" And THEN he goes up another entire octave. (We "phans" have called him The Tenorator, among other superlatives.) I played trumpet throughout college, and I looooove the shininess, the brilliance, of brass. David's tone in the upper ranges unbelievably has that same quality May I suggest another song which shows what I'm talking about? I was there in 2005 at his first solo DVD concert in Birmingham, and I can tell you alotta people went home with cold feet that night because David blew their socks OFF, as in O--F--F!
