I love this song!

I remember singing this (I think the whole song) in choir as a teen, particularly the chorus of the song, I don't remember the rest. But yes, goosebumps 100% very good rendition for sure and David Phelps does have such an amazing voice to sing it. It is only by the grace of God that we are saved, we ARE the reason why He had to suffer and die, He gave all that He could - to show US the reason to live. Amazing!

You should watch David with the Gaither Vocal Band singing "He's Alive ' at the tent revival concert, it will knock your socks off. Beautiful song and reaction video! Love your channel! This is an older song, previously sung by David Meece in the 1980's. He was quite popular back then. I love David's rendition of this song and that modulation, is just absolutely incredible. All of David's songs are phenomenal and it's hard to pick out a favourite. One that holds a special place in my heart, is a song David wrote called "One King" he sang it as a duet, with his late sister, Sherri Proctor Phelps, who died of cancer approximately 10 years ago. I would love to see David bring it back to his songlist, as a duet, with one of his daughters. The only version I can currently find, is an audio version with lyrics. The title suggests, he is singing with Sonya Issacs, but it's indeed, his sister Sherri. This song has just an incredible message and the delivery is absolute perfection. Another favourite I have is a new arrangement of "Oh Holy Night" done as a duet with David and Charlotte Ritchie. The song is actually called "Fall on your knees" Again, absolutely 💯 perfection. You know I am a huge David Fan. I've seen others recommend but I will throw it out there too. Gaither Vocal Band with David Phelps 'He's Alive' and 'Let Freedom Ring'. Also at the end of this video it cuts to a group of 4 backup singers (not in the choir) the two girls on the right are his daughters. The one with red feather earrings is none other than Maggie Beth Phelps.

The trumpet player is David’s sister Kari, you already seen Maggie Beth and the girl to Maggie’s left is her older sister Callie, David’s oldest. It’s a family affair ☺️❤️ his sister Sherry passed from cancer but used to be one of his singers too.
