Master, seeing you play this partita was one of the things I most wanted in life. I feel fulfilled, I felt a little taste of heaven. God bless you for sweetening the world with your noble art. 🙏🏼✨
Thanks for this beautiful interpretation. As both a pianist and classical guitarist I can appreciate this even more and it just shows how universal Bach’s music is.
Mr. Russel's execution of this piece, and any others I have had the pleasure to hear, or see him perform in concert, is a transcendent experience. Thank you.
Oh perfecto, maestro. I saw David play this Partita in February, 2017 in Austin, Texas. It was brilliant. My wife and I still remember that excellent performance
This is absolutely beautiful. It's been a stressful few months and I often come back to this video to help relax. It reminds me of the beauty in the world. Thank you!
Hi David...Was wondering how thimgs are gping...did you find or did an impressario come to you to arrenge concerts? Are you still performing? I have followed( after my 7 years conservatory during 1 1/2 yeat private lessons with Pavel Steidl... I followed masterclasses woth Costas Cotsiolis Manuel Barrueco and Hubert Kaeppel...I do have a Great admiration for your classical...romantic, but also especially how you Preform the Haendel the 7th Clavecimbel suite...My questiion is. I once wrote in a Neo Baroque style 30 variations on a meniey favourite for Anna Magdalena Bach...I.could send you the Partitur and recording( where you hear me struggling through this orifinally composed for piano...I have to write out some variations...they are in upclimbing degree of difficulty till the 14th variqtion...than.slowly it ends in somewhat neo baroque- ish / spanisch impressionistic...the last vriation shows again the rythmical cadanz of the 16rh against 8ths...3/4 with some.virtuoso cadenza after a chormaticcally, harmonic apetgepsi of the work...if you are interested please contact.me at amateurscience318@gmail.com
