@kyledelaney4049 nope, its not only Melbourne or just football, it's a society problem, but it's obviously affecting Melbourne and has been highlighted within Melbourne and its troubles the last 2 years. You're delusional if you think it's not connected to the current problems at Melbourne, or its playering group.
@dhenderson1810 so there's been no problems with the coach and drinking, then players and drugs. Haha yeah OK mate, any smart person wouldn't want there brand attached to that. The brand crap is garbage I agree, but people need to wake up and stop pretending everything's fine behind closed doors, because it's not.
Reckon they put him back on the ground knowing he had a life threatening injury, do ya? Or could it be that it’s just really easy to be critical in hindsight?
I don’t think Trac was exactly begging not to go back on. It’s a 2-way failure. 1, of letting the player’s opinion override the medical advice & 2 ,of Trac being overindulged by the club. As Ox said, he gets everything he wants so the club has probably created a spoilt brat who does t want to take responsibility for something that didn’t work out even though he was just as complicit. The fact that he thinks leadership is asking to leave so HE can go chase the big time despite taking the money and being responsible for any “failures” the club has had rather than leading the club to more success says a lot.
Word has it Daniel Chick is the cultural consultant with MFC. Such a nothing club who can’t pull a crowd & waste the capacity of the MCG game after game. Ironically they have a pissed, gambling addict former player speaking on culture, you can’t make this shite up!!!!
I feel sorry for Petracca, because I can't help wondering if he'll be the same brilliant player that he was, before this serious life threatening injury that he's been through. Football can be very cruel, and over idolized when things don't go right. I support Carlton, and I'd be most reluctant to take a chance on him, especially if it involved trading Harry McKay. Sorry Trac you've won a premiership, and I think you won the prestigious Norm Smith medal, but I don't know if you think it was all worth it, because of where you are at now. I feel for you as a person. Good luck, I wish you all the best.
Ox says if Petracca wants to go, then Melbourne have all the cards, but then goes on to list numerous reasons why they don't including the prospect of being taken to court. In the end they may not hold any cards at all.
Just letting you all know that if you look at a DEMONS scarf upside down, it spells SNOWED. The word SNOW is literally hanging around their necks 🧣 CHOKING ON SNOW
fluked a flag and looked like they had the ingredients to be the next dynasty club but have reverted to their classic Melbourne rabble roots. Club is an excrement tasting cheeseboard
People in the Melbourne Media are dancing around the fact the drug culture at Melbourne is why he is leaving. The way they left him on the field and he almost lost his life doesn’t help either. If this was a non- Victorian side they would be calling it out !!! Biased Media coverage !
@@fosjam6421 kind of agree with this and disagree at the same time. Every club will have players that dabble in drugs but when it starts to become accepted and permitates the leadership group is when it becomes a massive issue
I sent my friend at the game a text at quarter time "Trac broken ribs out for the game" next thing you know he's out there shuffling around in pain!😢 Once the extent of it was known I knew he'd want to leave the club and sent messages to our Deebrief pod to that effect. They did it to themselves 😌🔫
He's easily top 3 midfielders in the comp amd has been for probably 5 years. He deserves another premiership or two and i dont think hes getting that from Melbourne. The window is gone. Oliver will only stay at this playing level or worse for the rest of his career. Gawn is about to finish up. The club needs a solid full forward and may not get that in this trade period. Time to come to the Pies, Trac.
And 20 years later he has helped (and continuing to help) thousands of people with gambling addiction via DayHab. His life did a 180. He’s been there and can speak about it through his own experiences. Can’t people change? Not his fault your dad left for milk and never came home which forced mummy into her “night programs” 🤣🤡
Remember seeing him jump out of a car at the Cas. Couldnt understand why he looked so miserable. Years later when it came out, it all added up. Assumed, but a safe assumption.
Pettraca wanting to leave Melbourne because the culture (that he is an integral part of) sucks. And because they aren't winning partly because their best player (himself) is out injured.
