I can’t help but feel this is early onset schizophrenia or something. What is it about a person they can have a stream of conscious just by themselves for unlimited amounts of time just talking to themselves? If If I did that I’d be called crazy as fuck. His ability to be present while simultaneously outside of the situation looking at it is so pricelessly consistent. He has the comedic skill of being just as equally humorous from the viewpoint of an individual being enticed while also humorously being a critical thinker not being duped. His rare high standard of storytelling is that there’s a punchline in every one of his sentences in the relaying of one overall story so that one story feels like you just heard fifty stories cuz every sentence could be taken as a microcosm and developed as its own tale. Where other storytelling comics present a story so we can understand the intermittent points of humor, which by the way is totally worth the ride (i.e. Birbiglia’s tales are always worth it), Spade doesn’t utter a single line of narrative without it being gold (as youve so well used the word). Spades’s economy of words has no limit to quantity of consecutive sentences he can string together. He’s his own MST2000 commentator, his own Statler and Waldorf, his own greek chorus. Brilliant. Hope his mind always stay sharp cuz the endless comedy to share as he ages every year will be killer and fresh and relevant. Take your Ginkgo Biloba, dear treasure trove! BTW, 💕 this delivery direct to recording device that feels like youre performing to us as individual watchers one at a time versus us voyeuristically watching you deliver to a second party where we’re the ones in the cheap seats. Every viewer is the VIP and primary intended audience, not the second tier trickle down audience. Superb.

Not this white guy, I like my face, spine, and limbs just the way they are. I lived in Colorado not far from Aspen and several other ski resort towns. I knew dozens of people that broke many bones skiing or snowboarding. Just braving the icy mountain roads was enough excitement for me.
