Listening again in 2024. It's meaning is more relevant today than ever with those uncertain, fast-paced, changing times. Our mental health can definitely enjoy this music.
This song is amazing. The video more so. It shows how i feel on the inside. Hidden behind my faux happiness. I cant believe that i have been listening to David's amazing voice since 1993!!! Where have the years gone?!?
Hmmm You dont have to hate. My comment was my expression. Are you trying to repress all the forward movement we have made in freedom of speech? Why do you feel the need to start a war? If you dont like a comment, ignore it or thumbs down if you must, but to insult and try to belittle...thats just plain immature. I hope you have a wonderful day :)
Baby, baby, don't be late The world is ending I can't change The way I feel about you now New York is cold as ever But still I go out every night And hide myself among the lights Bathe in all the pretty things the city brings The bodies glisten and they shine Like the stars we're born to die And like these roses we all will fade I'm counting the cars on the freeway below Lost in the music all the foolishness of our lives Speeding out of control Lost in the music in the music Baby, baby, please don't cry Wipe the guilt out from your eyes And leave your conscience on the bed There's no one innocent here In the mirror you'll find faith Plastic flowers never fade but we all turn to grey I'm counting the cars on the freeway below Lost in the music all the foolishness of our lives Speeding out of control Lost in the music in the music I'm counting the cars on the freeway below Counting the lights In the end of it all I'm counting the cars on the freeway below Lost in the music in the music in the music in the music in the music in the music in the music 🖤
It took me awhile to find this because for the life of me I couldn’t remember his name. I kept putting the lyrics lost in the music and it kept showing Sister sledge. I loved this song
Oh same, I was at work and it was stuck in my head but i couldn't remember any other lyrics until "like the stars we're born to die' popped into mind and i finally found it haa
I remember listening to this song in the fall during grade 7 looking at the leaves fall, and havin a crush on some kid named Matt at the time LOL. BTW this David Usher guy looks like Richard Ramirez the Night Stalker! wow
@Pokolo413 They take the videos from the origianl peoples channel and get most of the revenue. For example, Lights had the Saviour music video on HER channel and I checked once and it was gone, only to find it was placed on VEVOs channel where they gain the most profit. It's stupid.
Its pathetic how such an all around talent such as Dave and his bandmates from Moist go scratching for recognition. If they were American, they would make Areosmith look like rookies.
When i first saw the original video of black heart ...I quickly thought that this face is much too pretty to be the musician!!Honestly,Δαυιδ ,...I said ''...yeah right, this must be a model lipsinging ,and NOT the musician!''....I just think maybe THATS the reason why being ''unterastimated''....Too much perfection, heavy for us....
This is a man who can sing in 3 languages and has. A talent beyond exceptional. Yet Miley Cyrus is the one with 350+ million in her bank account. Blasphemy!!!
David Usher, you must know a genius songwriter named Donald Marshall. He made most your songs at the cloning center. are you not going to speak the truth???
