AMEN! This is why my Pastor seeks God for what to share and will even throw away his notes or power point to preach something entirely different -- all because Jesus tells him to. Even right before he gets up to speak, the Lord might tell him, "No, we aren't going in that direction...." and he will change it up that fast, to give us what Jesus really wants us to hear. This is so rare in a Pastor these days. If it wasn't for his (and David's) sensitivity to the Holy Spirit this wouldn't happen.

The challenge is to "shear & obey"

A true teacher and preacher will find himself or herself teaching herself and preaching something to themselves as well. That's the Holy Spirit among us. Meekness, humility, will be present in such people. I think he was such. To whom was the word of the Lord sent the man asked. For which the prophet said, Thou art the man. And there is a word for all who will hear. The Holy Spirit applies it to each person's circumstance. For those who will seek and hear.

Rightly dividing is not a license from God to alter His written word to save your manmade dogma from the scriptures that do not play nice with your manmade dogma, "rightly dividing" is simply comparing scripture with scripture. and is why we have terminology such as "the synoptic gospels" or "Parallel passages" as they have been rightly divided by those who have called them parallel passages by comparing them.

Daily, we're in a spiritual war! Paul allowed the Holy Spirit to write through him the great battle between his spirit man and his flesh! He declared the importance of dying to self daily, mortifying its deeds and crucifying it's desire! Living to please God, by becoming living epistles as Pastor Wilkerson and his wife lived the gospel and lived transparent lives! The Holy Spirit knows the heart and mind of God and wants to reveal God's heart and mind to us! Even though we're in this world, God is trying to be our spiritual GPS SYSTEM and navigate through the blindness of Satan's Deceptions and delusions! Daily examine ourselves by the standard of God's word and keep a humble and broken and contrite spirit of repentance and humility! Wash us daily Lord and give us clean hands and pure hearts that we may be welcome in your presence daily to receive the daily instructions to go into all the world beginning in our homes, amongst our family members, communities members, place of business and recreation place of worship and shopping (Walmart, Walgreen, CVS, Home Depot), Everywhere to all men, help us to represent You, the Triune God of all creation as Living Epistles, being read and known of men! Thank you Lord for this community of listeners, who desire to be doers of your word and not hearers only! Help us to love all humankind as You do yet hate all sin as you do! Strengthen us as we surrender and abandon our will in pursuit of doing Your will Abba Father! Thank for your great atoning sacrifice King Jesus! Thanks for not waiting on us to get right before coming to redeem us! While we were yet in our personal sin, you died and rose for the redemption of all humankind! Help us to turn from our wicked ways and Humbly seek to be transformed into new creatures in Christ who are Holy Spirit filled, led, empowered to do the will of the Father and finish our kingdom business in our generation while it is yet day! Teach us how to be God fearing and bold Spirit led watchman who blow the trumpet in our personal Zion and boldly sound the alarm, that the bridegroom is coming, so live Rapture wedding! The church is not found in a building. It's called a personal relationship...not a club. If you was baptized, your still a part of the church of God which is in heaven and not of this world. It's ok... been where your at but have a personal relationship that I can worship according to the words written that I repeat daily as I try to grasp the ugly truth about my condition and those I am to serve and reject ❤

I thought that too, but I think he had said that there had been (in my words)... some sort of indifference going on between this person and the elders over instruction. The thing is, elders are not above being wrong about interpretation of the word, or above being challenged for doctrines they are teaching; and asek the assembly, the body of ha Mashiach, should always be testing the spirits. If I had have approached the elders of that church and shown them that we are to keep the seventh day Shabbat and not the pagan Roman church first day... I too would be asked to leave, not because I refuse instruction from them, but because they refuse instruction from YHWH.

First off, if the preacher has wives plural, you're in the wrong church. Secondly, you don't go to the other members of the congregation to air your grievances about the preacher's personal business. That is out of order. Go directly to the preacher and no one else. Otherwise, yes, that is definitely gossip (Ephesians 4:29).

He used the situation as example of hypocrisy. He did not mention the preachers name. Judge right

@@HeartheLionsRoar Gossip in the church is a very real and very toxic issue though. I hope it encourages people who do engage in gossip to try a different path. Gossip is a sin in the bible, clear as day.
