The six dice thing is something that the regular 5e starter set has too (the Lost Mines+Basic Rules version), so this version having that as well isn't really any Stranger Thing.

My group ran it for giggles, my only complaint is one of the riddles requires some outside knowledge rather than your own wit or in game knowledge.

I always had a passing interest in D&d but it wasn't until stranger things came out and my friends became obsessed with it that we actually started playing.

Honestly the best thing about the starter set boxes is that they are perfect for holding character sheets and they are even good for holding up to two rule books in them they are really useful

Ive never watched Stranger Things but this version of the starter set seems really tempting. I already have the original starter set, but a single session, simple adventure sounds perfect for letting people have a taste of the game!

Late to the show I know, but something I do to firm up minis that are kind of rubbery is do a layer or two of the super glue first before painting. I use loctite brush on, but most any kind that comes with a brush will do. It's not perfect, but in my experience it really helps.
