One page in particular tells about the truth about voyeur behavior. I told myself this, someday, you ought to appreciate the Lord God when he took David Graue's life. I watched reruns of The Monkees when I was about 9-10. Probably 1988-89 and I was in LOVE with Davey Jones. The heartache I felt when I found out that they were indeed reruns and he was much older than me. Lol Davey Jones will forever be my first crush and heart break ❤ lol

The Monkees had just finished their movie Head, he said he had lost 10 pounds rehearsing to perform the Daddy Song dance sequence for the movie and now I know why his first daughter was born 3 months later in London, he wanted his child to have an english passport.

A lovely man!!!! It's so sad he died quite young. I'm sick of people commenting they weren't talented or a real group......they were all very talented and had musical skills!!!!!! The monkees were a great band who surpassed the likes of modern-day boy bands by stratospheric miles!! He is remembered and will never be forgotten. How he speaks so gently , articulating himself beautifully, something modern day artists seldom do.
Which is a funny thing to say about his comments about a country based on "We the People" - who are they supposed to ask? A failed con man with criminal charges? He's 100% right about gun violence in the U.S. even now. If politicians were the only people journalists asked about political issues...it wouldn't be good.

Kind of heart breaking the first few minutes. But yes, the fact that the 'right to bear arms' is written into the constitution does breed a certain mentality in some people. Its a domino effect in that certain mentality. First their right to bear arms, their right to stand their ground, and by extension their right to go shoot someone who they believe is bad for their country. or they disagrees with them. The problem is not the right to bear arms, its the twisted delusion, that the right gives them power to use those arms how ever they see fit.

This interview shows that Davy was not some big headed rock star, but a smart conscience young man. Sad that the tables have turned and the immigrants are being given priority over others in the work force simply because of who they are, and not their skills. Wonder what he would think about the murder and mayhem going on TODAY?!
Where did you get the idea this was "poor quality"? I saved a 1979 Peter Tork interview of similar length and depth (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ycCD5ppEPE0.html) from being wiped and even coming straight of the U-Matic master tape it's nothing to compare with the visual and audio quality of this!

Oh, just for the record, one tape I was unable to save in time was another half hour interview with the Beatles' film agent Jerry Pam. I discovered maybe five to ten minutes of that remaining on another U-Matic VTR cartridge but the rest had already been taped over. Peter himself actually emailed me wanting to *buy* a copy of the Tork one (I sent him one free of course). His son later used some of it in a bio film of his dad, and footage was also used in some Monkees 50th anniversary presentations, which I was pleased to have been able to help with. Well, I'm just getting started looking into the many treasures you have shared so I'll let you be...

I love Davey- but he was a typical Brit in the sense that he thought the Brits were so far above violence and colonization. They were not. (They still are not.) They just do their "bang bang" business on other people's soil.
