Different ways of making kheer. I boil milk first, then you can either add washed rice or half cooked rice in it. Add saffron to give it little colour and flavour. Continue to stir and once it starts to thicken, then add sugar with chopped pistachio, almonds and crushed cardamom. After couple of minutes remove from heat, garnish with more pistachio and almonds.
